I think this is one of the finest songs ever written or performed. I also enjoy how in each rendition the guitar solo is different, unique, special, but builds to a chill-inducing sonic climax. Could be my fave song ever.
I agree, completely. This song was my intro to Dawes. I watched the video by chance, and my ears immediately perked up. Then searched Internet for everything about them and loved or liked every single song. Just back from seeing the band in Denver three weeks ago for fifth time and still feeling the glow. The best!
Vortigern99 this song is fantastic. I've watched many different versions of this on TH-cam and I also love how every solo is different... Dawes makes some damn good tunes!
I am pretty sure this is a sign I need to take over ACL. How you can fuck up something so amazing is without a doubt a true accomplishment. My admiration sores to heights I never thought possible.
@@mben-david2064 I think Craft WKR may have been comparing Griff to a British comedian, famous for having an emu (arm puppet) that attacked people in quite a robust manner.
I've read various comments on this band and they are compared to so many different '70's and '80's groups. Personally, they remind me a bit of Bruce Cockburn's albums from the '80's, for example, "Stealing Fire." If you don't know who Cockburn is: look up said album now.
From start to finish just an awesome song, possibly one of the best ever written. Absolutely love the sound of that Telecaster!!!
The fact that this is a tick slower than the album version somehow makes this song even cooler.
Watched this countless times over the years and it still hits!!!!
Great band that is AMAZING live in concert!!!

@@kathywallace940 Me, too. I can't recall how I stumbled onto it, but I'm glad that I did.
Still here……. 🍻!!
One of the most underrated songs in the world
Love the caption: "The band that's both modern and authentic." Thanks ACL for this!
I think that is a MOST annoying intro. Are "modern" and "authentic" mutually exclusive ideas?? Because that is the implication.
@@flyte19tql8r Yeah, that's how I felt, too. Kind of a strange introduction. Were old bands artificial?
This shit jams. Love these guys.
Listen to this song back in 2013! Classic!
A story, and a smooth rhythm. Not everyone can put the two together and make it work.
My new favorite band. It's just about "A Little Bit of Everything" that gets to me…Maximum Respect an play live music. ~ LW
When these guys are playing they remind me of 'the Band'. ...and I'm a HUGE fan of the Band
+Pat Keegan because they were Robbie Robertson's backup band for awhile.....
I just heard them for the first time. I'm in love. Gotta have a CD
Damn, these fellows are just hard-down, freaking GOOD.
Love this song and this band.
Profound.
Love this song so much, a story song sucks me in every time.
Also, kind of obsessed with tie-dye tanktop drummer boy.
Super excited for this to air!
I just watched it. Great music! First time I'd heard this band.
Excellent! New fan from South Africa. Cool Band!
sublime
No, it's Dawes..
SAW THEM ON CBS MORNING SHOW. THESE CATS ARE THE REAL DEAL.
Awesome live performance! I saw them live a few yrs ago & they were terrific.
Dawes is the good shit, keeps me goin.
I always listen to this song when I am in a plane that's about to takeoff... usually in an aisle seat.
I am pretty sure this is a sign I need to take over ACL. How you can fuck up something so amazing is without a doubt a true accomplishment. My admiration sores to heights I never thought possible.
Great tune. Rod Hull on drums too!
Wrong, Sparky, I was at this show, It's Griffin Goldsmith, brother of Taylor the guitarist.

So under rated. I have seen the Dead a lot and these guys inherit much. Make me smile and dance. More please.

Yeah I'd previously only thought of them reminding me of Jackson Browne but "Stealing Fire" by Cockburn is a great observation!
Hey ACLTV ! Please make available the ACL version of "A Little Bit Of Everything". Such an iconic song, please share!! Thank you
"Next, the band that's both modern *and* authentic, Dawes" - as if those two conditions were somehow mutually exclusive. For fuck's sake.
Idk why but it reminds me of Fleetwood Mac's "Tusk". Needs some accordion and marching band.
Hey yeah I never thought of it before you mentioned it but the beat is why it reminds you of "Tusk" - good call.
Is this zack garifalakis' new band?
Is the bassist one half of The Milk Carton Kids?
one person has no taste!
I don't even know why you'd bother to thumbs-down a song unless you felt REALLY strongly about it being bad.
Perhaps it's actually a positive thumbs-up from someone in the Southern hemisphere!?
I really like this song, but this version completely lacks any drive...
ZZZzzzzzzzz. Wake me when its over and not before. Is a more boring band conceivable, anyone?
Incredibility great song. I could listen to it over and over again, and often do.
