I am a huge fan. I am almost 70 and just love listening to you guys. I have all your albums downloaded and you are my go to “happy place “. I love the jam . I love the group RUSH because they played instrumental so much and you can just feel the music. I feel that way about you all. You need to come to Wisconsin. You have many fans here. Keep making awesome music, you are such talented musicians and Rick your voice is haunting, love it. I here Trey A is playing with you. WOW!
I hear you, it makes me feel like I did listening to Phish in the 90s, older Umph too. I'm glad someone is going to that jam level in the here and now. It's not an easy feat.
I’m coming up on 65 myself and have listened to mostly prog over the years. I enjoyed Rush but I loved Genesis. Something about these guys resonates with me as well. It’s funky, it’s smooth, it’s melodic, it’s intense…. I’m digging it. It was an accident as I was listening to the spectrum channel on SiriusXM. A song caught my ear, Hungersite by Goose. I looked for them on TH-cam when I got home. Wow! Great sound from some very talented musicians. Such an awesome vibe from these guys. …… and to think they played at the local Memphis in May music festival in 2022 and I didn’t go!!! Fortunately they will be in Nashville in March. I’ve got to make one of the shows!
Rick is so next level talented. Already deserves to be considered a guitar legend for his soaring, emotional and lyrical improvs. Can't get enough of these guys!
Monstrous sensitive and powerful. Brothers, do believe you've found your divinely guided path. Sending a heartfelt congratulations. Now the work begins. Can't wait to hear where your ideas take you next. Enjoy and be safe.
How much of them sounding better and better is confidence vs skill vs creativity? When you get to this level you can kind of go wherever you want creatively, knowing you’ve got a fan base ready to rock with you.
It's a proven method. Some bands are tight asses, and want to keep everything under wraps. Some bands recognize. If you let the fans in, they let you in, and it keeps going around.
I seriously cannot express my grateful-ness to this band. I am so obsessed with them and I love their extended jams. In a way, I feel like they are a mix of the dead, phish, widespread panic (because the bongos), king gizzard, and even daft punk. Maybe I just love all those bands, but they way the rhythm section is in the pocket and the solos are so greasy and the voice like oh my god.
@@Marshall_Stacks no reason to call someone a douche for such a small thing. Gratefulness isn't a word. Gratitude is. Someday that will be useful. Don't be so sensitive. I wasn't talking to you.
Stumbled upon Goose about a year ago and immediately fell for the band. Love that every week I find great new material to watch and listen to. These guys talents keep soaring . . .as is their popularity. And very well deserved.
Goose is the jam band for short attention spans... and I mean that in a good way. You get these builds and peaks in rapid succession. They don't make you wait 20 minutes to hit that glorious peak, and that's refreshing sometimes.
Long time Grateful Dead and Phish fan. I was craving something fresh and new. Goose is it. Their songs don't get old, they keep growing on you like Sugar Magnolia and Down With Disease. Amazing band, great talent. Glad Trey saw the light and decided to tour with them. GOOOOOOSSSSEEEE!!! Seeing them Nov 11th in Lowell!
I just discovered these guys maybe three or four months ago, and I think I've watched just about every show that they have posted and this version of animal is my favorite so far
36:50 loop, 37:00 to 37:41 dripfield purple and green dancing lights, 38:40, 39:10 to 39:30, (their lights are so cool, love the huge wash of color here: 41:27 and here: 14:29) , 43:54 dripfield drums, 46:00 dripfield outtro
Great set of the new material. Thank you Universe I LOVE THIS BAND...., making an elder feel young again! so fresh, original, and vibrant. Keep it coming. Safe travels to all XOXO
I was looking forward to this set for months, but had to miss it at the last minute for stupid health reasons and was pretty depressed about it. ACL is one of my favorite things. Glad y'all posted this for me to catch up. Psyched to have seen you at Stubb's the week before and even more psyched to see you at Mohegan Sun and then Glens Falls in just a few weeks!!
Best damn live band out there right now. Amazing musicians and vocalists. I can barely listen to any other band without immediately going back to live Goose shows...lol. That said, for some reason I can't get into "Creatures", it's just one of those Goose tunes that hasn't pulled me in yet. There are only 3 or 4 that I don't care for, that's one of them. The other 95% I love though...
Listen to the jam for Creatures at Morris, Connecticut 11/06/20 and it will change your mind on the tune, you'll start listening to it to see what the jam is going to be like and if they will match this show
They played from 7-8:15, so an hour and 15 minute slot. I was front and center for weekend 1, they were fantastic. Drove up to Dallas and saw them at the South Side Ballroom the night before this show, they killed it there too!
@@tdbhmusic Yeah they really are! I saw them at the end of the summer at Sacred Rose Fest in Chicago (it was my first time seeing them), and I have been hooked since!
With Dillion/Red Rocks(One of the better nights of my life) having sold out, Bloomfield coming and sold out, I think those venues you mention will be coming eventually. They sound Honktastic.
Cool show. I was just getting wound up good when they played creatures, then it was over. I know Austin City Limits has production time constraints and all, though.
The transformation of Trevor from conventional bassist to Phil-Lesh-but-in-the-pocket is one of my favorite things about how much better goose has gotten
Cmon goose. I need some new songs mang. I listen to all your shows and go to lots of your concerts. I purchase your vinyl’s and buy merch. You been rocking the same songs for awhile. I need a new jam that’s going to melt my face off. And Ben….give me a solo. Nobody does drum solos anymore and you would kill it. Give me what I need. Honk
I’m not hating. I’m just saying while the shows are great they are all very repetitive. I turn them on and get lost in a 20 min jam it’s awesome. There are no complaints. New album…it was good but out of all those songs how many of them are new? Only a portion. I get they are new and do not have a huge song bank yet. I’m not the only one who wants more from the band they love. And if they came out with an album tomorrow with all new shit you’d be stoked .
@@nickcassella2490 This year alone they've put out Dripfield while they've also started playing live shows with Animal, Turbulent and the Night Rays, Everything Must Go, Red Bird, Arise, Atlas Dogs, California Magic, Dr Darkness, and Silver Rising. My favorite as well!
Yep, but Tumble and Hungersite can give it a run for its money IMO
I go back & forth w/ others , but’s it’s always great. This one is absolute 🔥
It was the first song of theirs I ever really listened to after catching them at Peach in 2019. This version is ridiculous!
