hi jm! next time if you prefer hassle free sa korea especially on accommodation and transpo/traveling within seoul, best is to stay in hongdae/hongik area :) lahat nandon na and convenient for transpo mapa-airport or if you plan to roam around seoul since hongik is on line 2 and siya pinaka late nagsasara :)
@@nothingchannel432 myeongdong is ok too cause this is the most tourist friendly imo but street food prices here are times 2 or 3 compared to other places but they have wide range of selection. you can utilize Euljiro 1ga station too when traveling to Myeongdong cause this is just on back area of the shopping street.
@@joanncruzana218 mostly ng budget accommodation in kr are hostel/guesthouse. you can just read reviews on agoda/booking if ok ang pagsstay-an niyo. most of them works like a hotel naman but still manage your expectations :) also, make sure what you book have elevator (if bringing heavy things) or what possible floor kayo and even double check if you have private cr cause other accommodation have some shared spaces :)

I applied for korean visa for the first time last May 2019 and thankful that my visa was approved for single entry. I think swerte-swerte lang pag ma-approve ka o hindi. At the moment stress kami sa pagkuha ng Korean visa for my son. He is a Full Scholar of Global Korea Scholarship Program. Na-approved na visa nya kaso hindi nya pa naki-claim passport and visa nya sa KVAC kasi dumaan ang pagkarami-raming holidays. Sana makuha nya na ngayong araw kasi hindi pa kami nakakabook ng flight. Orientation nila ngayong araw mismo sa Dongseo University (Busan, Republic of Korea), heto pa sya sa Pilipinas nagbabakasakali makuha nya na ang passport ngayon araw sa KVAC. Hindi pa kami nakakabook ng flight kasi risky paghindi pa nahahawakan ang passport and visa 😢. Start ng klase nya is September 01 sana umabot sya Lord. 😢

Love Seoul we lived there for 12 yrs and 2013 we are back here in the US of A .....love the food and Korean people are one of the best Asian people i knew, we are planning to visit again pretty soon ,enjoy Kimchi Wonderland ,anyong haseyo !

Hongdae for me is the best area, more affordable accommodation, accesible pa din via train tapos hindi ganun ka touristy, but at the same time hindi naman ganun ka isolated na feels
Based on experience the best ang Airport Bus when going to and from the airport. Mas mahal siya but saves you the hassle na paglakad sa mga hagdan and train transfers. We also book our accom na may malapit na bus stop para di mahirap maghila hila ng luggages. Sa accom naman okay naman sa Myeongdong since anjan na halos lahat, pero try mo next time sa Hongdae, mura kasi dun like mga food and other stuff dahil University area. Sa Dongdaemun okay din, walking distance sa Dongdaemun design plaza, Dongdaemun market, and pwede mo din lakarin going to Gwangjang market! Enjoy your vacay!

It's correct Jm. My daughter and her friends also rebooked their flights with seats. Nawala yung initial seat assignment nila but luckily they were able to get the same seats at no extra charge. It shows Php0. Yung lang rebooking fee binayaran nila. Enjoy South Korea!!😊

We are also same location po ng accommodation because i saw the big daiso, I remember na katapat lang namin yan .and there is a tent nearby our hotel na selling tteokboki and soju. I stayed here last June at K-stay and I got the room on your left he he. My room is a little smaller though and didnt have a little hallway. However, my stay was pleasant and the room is clean. Ate Rica is really nice and i had a wonderful time talking to her. I hope I can make it back next year again. 😊

Everytime I go to SK I always stayed in Dongdaemun near DDP. Mura ang hotels and walking distance sa pasyalan, malls, market, train and bus stations. Mas enjoy at madaling sumakay ng bus kaysa train ksi walang hagdan na aakyatin, konti lang din ang lakarin at madaming makikita on the way. You can use google map.

Usually mga bata jan mga marunong mag english pag nagtanong ka mababait saka tutulungan ka nila pag nag ask ka ng help , ang masusungit talaga yung mga matatanda not just only that mga taxi driver ndi marunong mag english tapos kung saan saan ka lang ibababa tapos mga nagmumura. But other than i want to go back there i think mas nag enjoy ako sa korea kesa sa japan. Enjoy 😊
PAL changes flights and seats those book in advance. They would inform you for any changes via email or fon. We always go to their office and have them return our original seats we paid for
True. Ok mag stay sa Myeongdong esp if first-timer. We stayed don sa street katapat ni Daiso. Isang tumbling sa exit 6/7 at isang tumbling din ng Myeongdong shopping area. Pero better to go there pag autumn.

Another way is to take the airport bus lalo na if malapit sa stop yung hotel mo…1. Iwas hassle ng akyat baba ng strairs sa mrt w/ a heavy luggage 2. less transfer sakay and baba sa stop mo thats it 4. less ligaw and so u save time..that is If you are willing a little bit more since mahal ang airport train 😊

Nung first time din namin, nag AREX din kami kasi di na abot ng last airport bus. Pero pauwi, airport bus na. For me, mas convenient sya you just have to know which bus stop ang nearest sayo :) And yung Tmoney pwede no na sya bilhin sa CU sa airport + pa charge na rin 👍🏻

Hongdae for me is the best area, more affordable accommodation, accesible pa din via train tapos hindi ganun ka touristy, but at the same time hindi naman ganun ka isolated na feels
Ang Ganda sA South Korea Kasi palaging may free wifi. sA airport, restaurant, public places, terminals.

Based on experience the best ang Airport Bus when going to and from the airport. Mas mahal siya but saves you the hassle na paglakad sa mga hagdan and train transfers. We also book our accom na may malapit na bus stop para di mahirap maghila hila ng luggages. Sa accom naman okay naman sa Myeongdong since anjan na halos lahat, pero try mo next time sa Hongdae, mura kasi dun like mga food and other stuff dahil University area. Sa Dongdaemun okay din, walking distance sa Dongdaemun design plaza, Dongdaemun market, and pwede mo din lakarin going to Gwangjang market! Enjoy your vacay!

It's correct Jm. My daughter and her friends also rebooked their flights with seats. Nawala yung initial seat assignment nila but luckily they were able to get the same seats at no extra charge. It shows Php0. Yung lang rebooking fee binayaran nila. Enjoy South Korea!!😊
Finally kuya jm you already travel seoul so happy for you po! I remember it is my first time in korea seoul and it really giving kdrama vibes! We are also same location po ng accommodation because i saw the big daiso, I remember na katapat lang namin yan .and there is a tent nearby our hotel na selling tteokboki and soju. It is really dream come true talaga❤
Have fun at Korea! Nung kami pumunta most Koreans naman mabait and very accommodating pero yung iba na nasa Myeondong area medyo masusungit na. We don’t know if it’s due to racism pero pansin namin noon mas approachable sila sa mga puti, pero kung kami hihingi ng assistance may kasamang dabog eh maayos naman pagkatanong namin 😆 anyway that was 2019, baka nagbago na rin…Stay safe!

I stayed here last June at K-stay and I got the room on your left he he. My room is a little smaller though and didnt have a little hallway. However, my stay was pleasant and the room is clean. Ate Rica is really nice and i had a wonderful time talking to her. I hope I can make it back next year again. 😊
I was there for a business trip year 2012 13 14 and 15 Try to visit Mapo-gu station may HI-guest house hotel jan near hongdae walking distance lang, near yan sa mga university. also discover every station sa seoul yan ginagawa ko before. And Try mo rin mag han river cruise. Kulang ang 30days to explore seoul. 💕

We always stay at KStay Guesthouse in Myeongdong. Mahagdan lang pero very convenient kasi malapit sa train station and exit. Ingat JM!

Everytime I go to SK I always stayed in Dongdaemun near DDP. Mura ang hotels and walking distance sa pasyalan, malls, market, train and bus stations. Mas enjoy at madaling sumakay ng bus kaysa train ksi walang hagdan na aakyatin, konti lang din ang lakarin at madaming makikita on the way. You can use google map.

Usually mga bata jan mga marunong mag english pag nagtanong ka mababait saka tutulungan ka nila pag nag ask ka ng help , ang masusungit talaga yung mga matatanda not just only that mga taxi driver ndi marunong mag english tapos kung saan saan ka lang ibababa tapos mga nagmumura. But other than i want to go back there i think mas nag enjoy ako sa korea kesa sa japan. Enjoy 😊
PAL changes flights and seats those book in advance. They would inform you for any changes via email or fon. We always go to their office and have them return our original seats we paid for
True. Ok mag stay sa Myeongdong esp if first-timer. We stayed don sa street katapat ni Daiso. Isang tumbling sa exit 6/7 at isang tumbling din ng Myeongdong shopping area. Pero better to go there pag autumn.

Hi JM, re: sa seat since it was rebook sa ibang date seat will not be retain. Yung binili mong seat is for Aug 19 so basically doon lang siya applicable kaya nung nag re-book ka need mo bumili ulit 😅

Another way is to take the airport bus lalo na if malapit sa stop yung hotel mo…1. Iwas hassle ng akyat baba ng strairs sa mrt w/ a heavy luggage 2. less transfer sakay and baba sa stop mo thats it 4. less ligaw and so u save time..that is If you are willing a little bit more since mahal ang airport train 😊

Nung first time din namin, nag AREX din kami kasi di na abot ng last airport bus. Pero pauwi, airport bus na. For me, mas convenient sya you just have to know which bus stop ang nearest sayo :) And yung Tmoney pwede no na sya bilhin sa CU sa airport + pa charge na rin 👍🏻

Ang galing nadaanan mo yung guesthouse where we stayed. Dun sya sa left ng Tim Ho Wan papasok sya. Kaya isang kembot lang nasa galaan na ng Myeongdong agad. Tapos exit 6/7 yung tapat ng Daiso. Aliw!
Tip para Hindi na dalawang sakay from airport to myeongdong at wala nang stairs: airport bus. Sobrang convenient

Yes mawawala yung binayaran mo na seat if yung date mo na bago is occupied na yung seat mo. Kung namention mo sa agent yun baka na assign ka niya ng seat a rin but hindi na 1A since di na avail sa flight and sched na bago
