I just had a thought: Wouldn't cleaning your fellow bad guys as a cleaner make the game harder for the good guys? If the blamer does their job well they'd never be able to tell if they voted out someone bad or not. Or if you managed to clean a good number of people.
it's situational I think on when your friend is being sussed out the prev day but since cleaner can either kill or clean, your usual move is to kill unless you and your friends have a specific target let's say an unconfirmed role (usually still better to blame me thinks)

It would be neat if the game could realize that was happening and have them meet in the middle, wave at each other, and then mark each other’s house as police, in the same vein as conspirators/mafia/imposters. Rather than starting knowing each other’s roles they have to spend a night or nights organizing but gain a massive advantage because of it.

It depends. Two good police dont block each other. But they will go to each other's house. Good cop can block the bad cop if bad cop tries to kill. But good cop cant block the bad cop if bad cop tries to block another villager. And bad cop has precedence in block. So that means bad cop can block good cop So its like this: Bad cop block> good cop block> kill action But game is in esrly access and may have bugs plus my memory is pretty shitty. So dont trust fully

While there are too many snitches in this game; doesn't change the fact there are two roles that can make a "verified" questionable; they have a good basis to work with, the problem is that the "Good Snitch" role needs to be considerably rarer or even mutually exclusive to the "Bad Snitch" role in a round.
