The sponsor part was a brilliant way not to get the viewers bored. Claps for all of you, especially Ellis screaming his lungs out. I'm beginning to think he's Ramsey's cousin.
I just got overcooked from the Epic Games store and was thinking about playing this with my friends but after seeing how much rage is involved i think i'll pass XD
I mean it's a.. Fun.. Rage...? Like I get it, but it is actually pretty fun. Just stressful. Like actually working in a kitchen. Ultimate chicken horse might be more up your alley then.
Actually one of the definitions of defy is "to challenge (a person) to do something deemed impossible:They defied him to dive off the bridge." I'm actually surprised Jake used that word, even using it correctly.
"I defy anyone to find anything wrong with this!" He apparently knows English better than the rest of you, as that is a perfectly valid way of using the word "defy."
Ah yes, live elixir: Pure, unaltered Ellis rage. Perfection! Also nice job on the ad. If only more people would integrate them so well in their content...
BTW, fellow listeners, Jonk was surprisingly correct about "defy" as a verb. Merriam Webster defines "defy" in meaning 3 as "to challenge to do something considered impossible; to dare" with the example "defied us to name a better movie".
As much as I do like listening to Ellis just rage out and get frustrated with co-op games I would never play with somebody like him my personality with his raging moments would just class and blood would be spilled.
In an old video Cath actually mentioned that Ellis is actually pretty calm normally is just that whenever they play with Alex and Jake they constantly troll each other which is why Ellis gets pissed so easily

There are moments when a single word can have it's meaning changed due to a phrase or sentance such as shooting fish in a barrel is not you actually shooting fish in a barrel.
2 years old vid and no one's pointed out how they're wrong about the word 'defy'. Defy means to refuse a force or influence. Saying "I defy anyone to blah blah blah" is basically inviting an argument because you know you'll win.
Defy verb 1. openly resist or refuse to obey. "a woman who defies convention" 2. appear to be challenging (someone) to do or prove something. "he glowered at her, defying her to mock him" Jake did use defy correctly.
