    Wow... I am speechless on how well you explained "hyperconjugation" and I had watched 24 other videos on this topic prior to watching yours which was so well-explained that puts an end to my searching videos on this topic. Thanks from the bottom of my heart.

    Thank you so much sir.... well explained... I have a doubt sir... when u were explaining about hyperconjugation, u said that stability decreases when the empty p orbital is localised in that particular carbon alone....why is it so?

    • @gamehacker2738
      @gamehacker2738 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Imagine yourself carrying a load (electrons here) with only one hand while the other is free.Obviously that'll be a less stable state. Now if you stretch out your other hand and distribute the load (delocalisation),you'll get to a more stable state.

    hyperconjugation is a conjugation of the sigma ad pi bond but in the case of carbocation, there is no pi bond. kindly make it clear to me

    bromine is electronegative that means it have more electrons which it will donate . so how does it is receiving electron in the above case??

    • @gamehacker2738
      @gamehacker2738 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Bromine has 7 electrons in its outermost shell.This means that it needs only one more electron to fulfill its outermost shell to form an octet. So it will be easier for it to accept one electron than to donate.That's why you might have noticed bromine forming Br-(bromide ion).And coming to electronegativity, it means the tendency of an atom to attract electrons towards itself.

      @Knowbee  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for you comment. Not sure what you mean by "mtp". Please let me know the time where I say that and I will try to help you. Perhaps I am saying "EMPTY p orbital" but I say it too fast so it sounds like mtp. Hope that helps!
