    It's very unfair that IIM keeps 10th, 12th's marks in criteria. A person can develop dramatically in 5 years. Only that person's caliber currently should be considered, which can be done in interview too.

      Ya but it will not be good for students who put there heart and soul in thier school life for achieving a good percentage.
      I understand your point but I think your perspective is kind off biased towards the people who perform bad in there school and improved later on in life.
      I think that IIM's should introduce a choice whether you want to get admission including your 10&12 and grad score or only on the basis of cat percentile and interview
      Ya but this will lead to a very high percentile requirement for people only getting through on the basis of percentile and interview

    • @GuneetJain
      @GuneetJain ปีที่แล้ว +24

      Agreed with your point.
      But Shouldn't a person who has been consistent with his/her efforts from a young age be given advantage over a person who became serious only in the later part of life?

    I'm a general student. I was forced to take science stream in my 11th and 12th where I had no interest but I had to take it. My average of 10th and 12th percentage is 79.7%. Missing the eligibility criteria by just 0.3%. I thought science stream's cutoff will be a little lower than those of commerce and arts because of the toughness but surprisingly it was the opposite. Now my question is, Is the eligibility criteria of 80% there in every IIM? Please reply..
