Beautiful house and beautiful lady in appearance and in spirit! I had an American dream that ended too. Frankly, I am loving chapter two more than chapter one! All the best to you, Jen!

Definitely the most beautiful Tiny Homes I’ve seen. She did a fantastic job. Color scheme brightens the whole home. The owner has a positive attitude and she’s living her life for her.
Twisted my ankle coming to the comments to see if they all mentioned how absolutely wonderful Jen is. Happy to see that they do. What a wonderful woman👏Richly deserved happiness ♥ and the home is lovely too ;)
I’ve always loved tiny homes but never saw myself actually living in one until this one! It has all the things I love in a home. The tub, the amazing kitchen, fireplace, storage, king size bed. It’s perfection.
I love this lady! Everything she has spoken about is right on! Life is about going places, meeting people and perceiving things. What a fantastic house! I wish you all the happiness!
I'm a wanderer and love to have new experiences. I am surrounded by people in the family who are not. I now live alone after raising my kids and get to have all of those experiences which comes from walking out the door and exploring each day. It's easy when you live by the ocean in the redwoods.
I love her absolutely! It’s great to see a woman take her divorce in the right spirit and own her life. I did the same in many ways. The house is absolutely gorgeous. Totally awed by her sense of freedom ❤️❤️
Can’t lie, this has to be one of my top 5 best tiny house on wheels. I love the color schemes. You could always raise the fridge by putting it on top of a sturdy 2 foot pullout storage drawer. That way you have access to the bottom drawer & the fridge.
Actually, she should have done what I always do: buy a fridge with the freezer on the bottom. You open the fridge 30 times a day, but the freezer only a few times. I hate having the freezer at the top. Makes no sense.
That is such a well designed tiny home. I’m glad she put the name of the company that built it called “Mitchcraft” & the price of $170k because of prices of wood & materials have went up

Beyond the presentation of an endless number of (great!) tiny homes, it would be cool to hear more about water/electricity set up, moving, staying permits, etc to complete the view on tiny house reality (especially for mobile homes). At least in Western Europe it seems it hard to even find any place where you are allowed to put something like this, let alone connect it up with sewage, electricy, water and you would still pay rent or have to buy the ground it's parked on making it more like an e.g. 170k investment into an apartment that you still need to pay rent on. Then if you wanted to move it, you would not move it often and would again be lucky to find a place to put it where you want it to be. How does all that work in the US? Very curious.
there are lots you can rent in the us for a small amount to have it placed there along with hooking it up to water also. and truck stops i’m pretty sure you can park there temporarily or pretty much any public parking lot like at a walmart or something. but most people with these types of homes are either at a trailer park for a monthly fee for the lot or constantly traveling
Sebastian, we have all of those same issues here in the USA. Very few states make it easy to have a tiny home. Lots of bureaucracy and laws preventing homes of a certain (small) size in certain (e.g. the most desirable) areas. Only a handful of states seem to have tiny home communities. We got one in my city very recently and it's only a few homes and all are occupied -- and the developers had to jump thru hoops to make it happen. I agree with you about the "170K investment in a rental". Any lot rental fees in/near a bustling American city are going to reflect that in cost. Not everyone can move out into the extremely rural areas to keep costs down.
There are places that allow ADU (additional dwelling units) to allow people to allow their parents or adult children to live on their property or to rent out. Also, out in the country (farm land) the laws on what you can do with your property is more relaxed so you can have people stay on your land, sometimes trading some work for permission to park the land. Check out Fy Nyth, she did it that way for years.
I don't know where to start looking for a safe and nice place to build a tiny home in the US either. They have "Mobile Home Parks" that's different then a "Tiny Home Community" though.
This is the first Tiny Home I could ever see myself staying in. They're always just too small, but this one is absolutely gorgeous. That kitchen! It also has waaaay more storage than my entire stationary apartment.
I absolutely love the way Jen shows her tiny house!! The way she just describes everything and her way of "selling" everything in her home is just so youthful and fresh and makes me want to watch her again somehow lol
"You don't have to be in a relationship to afford it." Yes, indeed. Very nice house. Love the layout and the decor. Loved the kitchen counter shape, the sofa, and the bathroom. I usually don't like when the bathroom is right next to the kitchen, but it was not bad the way it was designed.
But she had a 3,000 sq ft house that she was able to sell having been a wife and mother, so she was able to buy a good tiny home and spend more than most.
No, you just have to have $170,000 in your pocket! Which many single parents are not going to have to put into something like this which will only depreciate over time.
Thank you for sharing this great home with us! I wish I'd done exactly what she did after my divorce. Great decision!! Sadly, I cannot afford this beautiful home. Jen's 34' x 10' home is 520 sq.ft. and costs $225,000. This builder has some of the best tiny homes I've seen. They're well built and more expensive, but if you can afford it, this would be perfect! Congratulations to Jen!!
The loser here is the ex-husband. I'm divorced too and he lost a gem! Yes, go and live your best life NOW! You don't need to be in a relationship with a donkey's rear end to do it. You GO girl!
I love how you’re living. Nothing beats a piece of mind, freedom and independence. What a great example you’re setting for your children. I applaud you🎉. You did good. Be proud and continue to live your best life. It’s time for you now! I get it
Absolutely stunning. She has thought of and planned for everything, counter space in the kitchen to soaking tub to king-sized bed. Well done. I have to say her house totally matches her personality. What an amazing lady.
Brilliant & beautiful farmhouse. “ your kitchen has more storage than mine. The whiskey that I need when I go under the house. Fire clay always wins. It’s a disco fireplace! Your life is not inside your house-you get 1 shot” You can see you had an architect that honed in well on what you needed, and wanted. What a great collaboration. 👏❤️☮️🙌
After seeing dozens of Tiny Homes this one is by far my Fav, maybe its the way it was decorated and the awesome woman giving the tour....best of luck on your journey.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Tiny House exudes an understated elegance & sophistication without sacrificing comfort & function. Great job, and the best thing is all yours and if you dislike the location you can always move it elsewhere. May Happiness & Prosperity knock at your door forever... Abrazos
This is one of the most beautifully designed and coolest tiny house I've ever seen! So much storage inside and out and I loved the skylights. I also liked what she mentioned about the American dream and redefining it for herself. ❤
They don’t have full height. She was sitting on the floor and didn’t have lots of room above her head. In the other loft she was on the steps/hall area with closet. Once you go up to floor with bed you can no longer stand up straight.
This is one of the most well, thought out floor plans. It shows that you don’t have to sacrifice comfort, or convenience when you collaborate your guilty pleasures within the tiny home concepts. Plus, we are discovering new ways to expand the perimeters of what’s possible. Thanks for sharing this great tiny home! Happy Holidays, and blessings!
The house is beautiful but do you have to tell the whole world about having a sleepover with a man you might bring home, great role model for your daughter!
This is one of my favorite tiny house videos… Very pretty and functional.. the lady has a very pleasant positive demeanor… May God bless her and her kids…
Oh, so beautiful. Just my style! I think the 10ft wide does the trick. The plants do add to the aesthetic. Love the fireplace, love the couch, love the windows, love the round counter, love all the storage. Love, love, love!
The perfect example of a home for my daughter & I - she's nearly 16 & this has been my dream for a few years now. Even Jen's adventure's on the trails and working from home. It's a compliment to copy!! :-D
This tiny house is a lot bigger than my apartment. When I first heard about tiny houses I always wondered how they manage to get all their stuff in there but now I see they are way more spacious then I thought.
YES! This to me is what the tiny movement is all about! Not a one size fits all house, but something that is unique to you and your needs! Also I love this house, it is absolutely gorgeous!! ❤❤
I agree! The Australian government however, does not... We would have to move every 28 days here, so ridiculous! Especially considering the crazy high price of houses and land here. Anyway, this tiny is gorgeous!
This lady is inspiring! I love how she made the floor lower in the Master loft. I watch all these videos and I get ideas. I also love how active her life is, and her location is so suited for her lifestyle.
I really love your tiny space. However, I wish more people would also discuss how they found the piece of property they purchased or rent. Who the builder is? Thanks for showing your lovely tiny home to us.
She gave the name of the builder "Mitchcraft" and some put it in their comments. You can google where tiny homes can stay. Seems you have a few choices. Friends, family or you can stay at RV parks that allow tiny homes. So it would be one of those for her considering she wants to be able to move to be near her children when they venture into the adult world.
@@DragonHeartTree there's a direct link to the builders website if you click to read the entire written text of this video. Also links if you wish to follow this homeowner on fb, etc. I must say this builder looks very solid.
I love this so much! I can tell just from her comments and the way she comments, she is very, very happy and at peace with herself and her life. Kudos to her! And her tiny house is extremely beautiful!
I looooooove everything about this NOT SO TINY house!!! 🥰😍 Actually, this house is all I needed to see to take the plunge! The cost to build it, the decorations, the space got me sold!!!!👏🏾❤️😊
This just might be my favorite tiny house that I have ever seen! I think that this would be a perfect layout and idea for our little family since it has the two lofts.
I love your posts, Jenna, the fact you live in your own tiny house, how discreet you are in focusing on the homes and people . I even love your signature tune!
That is definitely the best I've seen so far! There's several I do like but this tops all. Love the skylights & the way she did the lofts. The storage under the stairs & also the round end of the counter top. Amazing job!! 👏👏 To the builders who came in & "saved" the day! It's good to see that for every bad egg, there's an amazing one!
I love her outlook on life. As for her tiny home, it is absolutely beautiful, functional, and I want one. Best home I've seen in a long time. Thanks, Jen, for ideas.
Yeah I wonder why it's not popular to talk about things that we all want to know.. the eco-friendly insulation, mold prevention, land rent, what kind of water tanks are best? How do you hook up solar etc. Someone will be smart enough to make a channel to help out with these things and I suspect they will end up making big bucks
yeah thats what they never tell you. in my country its HIGHLY illegal to do smth like this u have at least have a post adress access road to ur land connection to the public sewer system and like 600 other small written parts in your papers that will kill u b4 u even enjoyed 1 ywae living there. its like being a hobo, but in the woods...
@@Hansgame Yes that's why people usually put this kind of building on a piece of land that already has a building, or on land that permits this like 'tiny house villages' that have the certification. But, more and more tiny houses are now already built for homeless etc. In Germany as well as the US and who knows how many other places and capsule hotels are also coming up everywhere now. So I think the laws will be adjusted, eventually. You should check and see if land owners are allowed to have such temporary buildings if there is a building already on the property. Like farmers that have a house or a commercial buiding. The reason they allow these is cause technically it's legally like a shed or a temporary building, so not a regular building. I just saw a vid about someone in New Zealand who built a tiny earth ship type home and he wasn't allowed to use the 'grey or black water', to water his indoor plant garden, which is part of the earth ship design. So he did get certified after removing the pipes that automatically drain the toilet flush water to the plants. There are still ways to do it, one would have to install a septic tank that separates the water and then drains that or pumps that to outdoor plants or plants in a greenhouse. But in NZ there are droughts and it's strange they would not let someone recycle the water they use.
…totally loved how overcome with gratitude Jen became whilst describing her home…well done all around and huge yay to making a tiny dream oasis customized around an independent new lifestyle with unlimited possibilities…

This home is AMAAAZING!!! Felt awful for her divorce, but....look how her "new" life has turned out! I have never owned a house, but more and more I'm looking at these little tiny homes as a possibility to have my OWN place, like she said, with no compromises! But my big question always is: HOW SAFE ARE THEY? From intruders, animals, etc.?
Felt awful about her divorce? Why?? She is happy and free. Of course intruders and animals aren't going to get it. It's not a tent. Any house can get broken into. That's a silly question.
Love what you said at the end Jen. We define what are life is and what our dream is. Your home is absolutely gorgeous! Can't wait to be a fellow tiny home owner!

What was the American dream to you?
This is my favorite and got me really considering a tiny house. Also, Jen is so inspiring. The grace cannot be hidden from your face. You shine, mama.
I love this!
“When it works for you.. you’re going to be happier”… How true is that! Her home is beautiful and her words are so inspiring! 💕
That was a good quote and her words at the end of the video summed it up perfectly.
This is def the most gorgeous tiny home I’ve ever seen!! Not only the lay out but the way she has it decorated and organized and spotless as well! I’m so jealous!
Nice tiny house but she caN't Decorate
@@eleasefox1053 I don't think so!
The decoration of her tiny house is amazing!
What a wonderful woman👏Richly deserved happiness ♥ and the home is lovely too ;)
Yes! She is amazing! Beautiful inside and out 😊
😂 love your comment ❤️❤️❤️
Love all the positive comments about her!
Congratulations?

I had to listen to her ending three times. WOW. she is living the dream. Absolutely inspirational .
I love her absolutely! It’s great to see a woman take her divorce in the right spirit and own her life. I did the same in many ways. The house is absolutely gorgeous. Totally awed by her sense of freedom ❤️❤️
This woman looks fabulous...I don't know if it's the tiny house but she's happy, she's healthy, she loves her home...she's winning.
That was my first thought too or get the fridge freezer combo with the fridge on top
@@olga138 I've been looking for one of those small enough to fit my kitchen, and I can't find one 30" wide or less.
Agreed! cupboards below and raise the fridge closer to eye level
@@bartiebee6711 I just got up and measured mine! heh It's about 31" wide--Whirlpool. Too bad you don't have an extra inch.
The homeowner has a great attitude and outlook on life! Beautiful tiny mansion as well!!
She’s soooo adorable she made me laugh & smile so many times throughout the video.. I wish her all the happiness in the world ❤️
That is such a well designed tiny home. I’m glad she put the name of the company that built it called “Mitchcraft” & the price of $170k because of prices of wood & materials have went up
I've seen Mitchcraft builds on quite a few tiny home shows/videos. I'm always impressed by the work 👍🏼
THIS IS A HOUSE PRICE LIKE WHAT I LEFT.
IT'S THE BEST & I SURVIVED A SIMILAR SITUATION MINUS KIDS. I'M INTO A MOBILE HOME BUT WISH I COULD AFFORD THIS ON MY OWN BUT BEING DISABLED IT'S BOUT IMPOSSIBLE. I LIKE WALL SPACE & LESS WINDOWS BUT THIS IS WELL DONE.

Such a cute functional tiny home! I love it!!!
The q foot width makes a big diff.
Hi sis, check out my tiny house: here is the first video of me building it. Thanks th-cam.com/video/c3n76kVFfJ4/w-d-xo.html
Better be for 170k. Dang. Crazy
Girl…you aren’t surviving you are thriving!!!! Love this!!!
Her energy and spirit is EVERYTHING! Such a beautiful individual - both inside and out!
Her story is inspiring, and the house is beautifully designed. The kitchen is amazing.
I love her story and her outlook on life that just made her tiny home even more magical
Her and her daughter are so beautiful!
Gosh she seems so happy like genuinely happy. I moved into my 28' rv 3 months ago and I'm slowly painting etc. Making my own dream. I too am so happy I cannot even put it into words. Its different, but it's def what makes ME happy.
Just remember not to get bogged down by the little things. I've heard so many ppl say at the end of their build or remodel they were so tired & exhausted they cut corners just to get it done. Take your time & do it however you want. You've got time. Congrats on taking that big step & making your dreams become reality! Best wishes for your new life!👍🏻
Beyond the presentation of an endless number of (great!) tiny homes, it would be cool to hear more about water/electricity set up, moving, staying permits, etc to complete the view on tiny house reality (especially for mobile homes).

Love, love, love this tiny house. She was brave enough and budget minded to incorporate all the things she wanted, and it turned out great.
I lived in Boulder for 30 years. Miss it so much! Thank you for sharing your tiny house! It's beautiful! ❤️
This has to be my favourite design ever. Even down to the quartz countertops. So light bright and airy! Love that she can stand in her bedroom also.
Yes, this is an amazing tiny house, one of the best I have ever seen, good luck to this young lady and safe travels too.
Hello Mary how are you doing today
@@ramseykelvin168 YOU'RE A SCAMMER!!!!
She’s so inspirational! I love her tiny house and her spirit! ❤️🏡
What a beautiful home! She is such a lovely person! And her children sound like she is a very nurturing Mom! Blessings to her.
Hello Dianna how are you doing today

This is an awesome tiny house! Nice how the lofts that bump out and have full height! Also nice to have outside storage! Everything is beautiful!
Hello Tammy, how are you doing?
This tiny house is absolutely beautiful. We wish her many happy years in her tiny house. Thanks Jenna sharing her story❤
The house is beautiful but do you have to tell the whole world about having a sleepover with a man you might bring home, great role model for your daughter!
Her house is gorgeous and she is so right about everything. I really liked this episode. Thank you Jenna
This is one of my favorite tiny house videos…
Very pretty and functional..
the lady has a very pleasant positive demeanor…
May God bless her and her kids…
I think this is one of best layouts! The 2 places that seem so small (in other tiny homes) - the bathroom and kitchen - seem roomy! Love it!
The best ...she used her brain its so beautiful incorporating comfort for her daughter best wishes from australia.

Love the round table a lot and the skylight. With the KitchenAid there, the kitchen are completed.💗💗💗
This house is absolutely gorgeous, I love everything she has in her place. ❤️
Hello Nancy
Thank you sir for giving her freedom again you deserve lots of love an God will give you blessings in your life your the best!!!
Truly a mansion tiny home but I love most that she did it for herself. Beautiful!
Absolutely amazing!!!! The house is incredible. And she has such a warm and caring personality.😊
Yes, same.
It's clearly listed if you click to view the entire text of this video. There's even a direct link to their website..and they look very solid.

This just might be my favorite tiny house that I have ever seen! I think that this would be a perfect layout and idea for our little family since it has the two lofts.
Best tiny house ever !! She has it all. Congrats on a perfect build !!
I love your posts, Jenna, the fact you live in your own tiny house, how discreet you are in focusing on the homes and people . I even love your signature tune!
What a lovely home. So much storages, lights and stunning interior. Love the chevron paneling around the french door
I just love how she put things in it’s Perspective on life and owning your own life !!!!🥰🥰🥰🥰 love her out look !!! 🌏🌏🌏
I love her outlook on life. As for her tiny home, it is absolutely beautiful, functional, and I want one. Best home I've seen in a long time. Thanks, Jen, for ideas.
Question: where do you park? Did you buy a lot? What about hookups: power, water, sewer? Cost of land/rental of space wasn't included in total cost.
I wonder what utility bills are
yeah thats what they never tell you. in my country its HIGHLY illegal to do smth like this u have at least have a post adress
access road to ur land
connection to the public sewer system
and like 600 other small written parts in your papers that will kill u b4 u even enjoyed 1 ywae living there. its like being a hobo, but in the woods...
Exactly!
…totally loved how overcome with gratitude Jen became whilst describing her home…well done all around and huge yay to making a tiny dream oasis customized around an independent new lifestyle with unlimited possibilities…
Hello Lindy, how are you doing?
I’m working and planning for my tiny house in 3-5 years and I’ve watched so many videos. This is by far my favorite. 🥳🤩 Thank you for the many inspiring ideas. Your message at the end is also much appreciated and celebrated. Sending blessings your way!🙏
This is absolutely so awesome 👌. I admire the owner's attitude and her positivity toward living. Beautiful and not so "TINY" at all. 👍 job. I wish her all that's GOOD 👍
The nicest tiny home yet. The kitchen is beautiful. This woman is so inspirational. Blessings.
They are built of the same materials as other homes, just more compact. They are not any easier or harder to break into.
Animals?? There are doors and windows on the home. Intruders are opportunists. It doesn't matter where you live.
Felt awful about her divorce? Why?? She is happy and free. Of course intruders and animals aren't going to get it. It's not a tent. Any house can get broken into. That's a silly question.
@ROCIO …. It’s not really that silly of a question. Silly you, though. 😀
Love what you said at the end Jen. We define what are life is and what our dream is. Your home is absolutely gorgeous! Can't wait to be a fellow tiny home owner!
Lovely. Nice and bright, yet homey. Lots of drawer room in the stair/pantry. I love the bathroom. An excellent house for a single woman.
I love this home. The layout and style that Jen and her daughter have created is something I could easily see myself call home. Feels so comforting, definitely my favorite of all I've seen on TH-cam.
