Idk if you'd want to go for a more historically "accurate " Andalusian culture, but if you do, might I suggest an Egalitarian court ethos, with Philospher Culture?
It's doesn't matter of the accurate he changed the history so the culture could improve and change a little bit

Egalitarian does not really make much sense for history or any country at sufficient size.
While they may naturally be inclined to value people equally, they don't value the value for its own sake and would annihilate a group if strategically beneficial without feeling guilty for long, though they might be a bit disappointed.

It's mixed between arab bedwen and Ancient iperia it's even tuch the riligon and make slice tuch on almulady trdion and gave it's som tuch in celebration and holidays

Well, there’s a new addition that could change up things a little bit.
You can form a Mediterranean Kingdom if you completely control Corsica, Sardinia, Sicily and Mallorca and the modifiers you get are insane, they are temporary, but they are really, really powerful!

i created a massive empire as a norse that controlled all europe, north and west africa, and was entering asia and the middle east (tho still no control there).
then that decision appear, to secure the mediterranean sea.
I didnt know if it was a bug or not, but i started getting 50k renown per month. Basically every month i would unlock 2-3 dynasty buffs. That was kinda crazy.
Given the empire that i had, and the fact that i married my family into the mongol empire, and now that it splitted i had my dynasty ruling all the smaller kingdoms and empires, i was earning around 300 renown per month, i felt it was a lot and really good...and then that happens and i start getting 50k xD

Well I know your editing is getting better, but I sort of prefer the older more laid back content. I like the new editing you've gotten, but everything just seems too fast and enthusiastic. Just my opinion. To be completely honest, putting the video on 0.75x speed sort of helps

Its gonna be hard, remake the umayyad borders and merge every culture along the way for example andulusian and berber, then you conquer Egypt so merge new culture with egyption and with all cultures (if it’s possible).
Then hold empire until u get elder partition (eldest member get all power of father)

Love this video! If you didn't know, ending the war will release many (not all, but many) valuable hostages from your dungeon automatically. When you capture a valuable hostage from a siege and reach 100% war score because they only have the one county, take a moment to ransom the valuable hostage before ending the war. This can earn you easy easy gold, and you will still win the war because you have 100% of their territory!
@@OttawaWelshman lol, lazy tax. Fair enough! I'm usually strict about it since I play a lot of Norse, and the easiest way to get rich is raiding and ransoming. But by the mid game I usually just mass ransom too XD
Outlining features in the dlc is how you keep me coming back 🤩
My only issue with the DLC is that if you try to fight anyone who is Andalusian they can get so many mercs for cheap and field three to fourth times the amount of troops than you expect.
I didn’t have too many issues with it. I was able to get the domination decision with Navarra fairly easily.

Love the video. When I first saw the dlc I wasn't too excited (was hoping for and Britannia or Germanic based dlc as those are my favorite regions to study). But this dlc went over and above my expectations. Can't stop playing it and your strat is gonna help a lot to get those shiny achievements. Loved the SS refference.

I want to see everything you can think of to do in this ultimate empire you've set up. Reform religion, reform/hybridize culture, show more of the dlc, see if there are any other crazy/unique major decisions you can take. We want to see it all!

As I haven't seen a part 2 of this yet, i'd love to see a revenge of the battle of tours, maybe conquer the basque territories in France. I'd also suggest Mediterranean island dominance as well.

How do you massively convert all culture and faith during the hostile phase? It took me more than 10 years to convert faith of a single county with perks from learning lifestyle unlocked. I feel that is the actual struggle :(

I have a weird suggestion for a future series. I was thinking that you could do a campaign in which you formed Portugal, consolidating its current borders, but after that you stopped and started a kind of tall play. You would be looking for a peaceful solution to the reconquest, not converting the conquered land culturally or religiously, creating a multicultural Portugal. You couldn't convert to another religion unless forced to and you would try to place members of your dynasty on the thrones of all other Iberian kingdoms, Catholic or otherwise, although I don't know if that's possible. To add difficulty, you could only make alliances with Iberian kingdoms. My idea was a more roleplay-oriented campaign. It could be shorter or longer depending on your liking. Objective: finding out if multiculturalism is the key for a successful civilization or the catalyst for unlimited rebellions?

Speaking from experience, there's nothing better at making a meme game than Among Us. I joined a multiplayer game as Emir Sussus I Amogus, diverged the Amogan Culture, created the true faith of Imposterism (someone else later made crewmatism lol) and made some horrible border gore. I don't know if you want to make this a meme game, but it can be pretty fun once you've done everything else

@@1992zorro most large AI empires (Byzantine, Abassid, Seljuk, HRE) have very weak armies , and the only thing that saves them is insane amount of lands that you have to go through. However, as a dissolution faction, you can just swear fealty to an empire and dissolute it making it much easier for yourself to expand. Also Byzantines, Seljuks and Abassids now always seem to implode first ten years of the game. hehe-
@@1992zorro i did that literally just today. I made kingdom of Georgia, that had like 25 counties, swore fealty to Byzantines, dissoluted them, then swore fealty to Abassids and also dissoluted them. Khazars dissoluted on their own
It's not broken, is the same as the independent faction except you lose your primary title, if you are a Emperor of a small empire is not that big of a deal, also only the vassals that fight you go independent, not every single one

I think there's a decision/event that talks about the legend that the vikings brought cheese to the Muslims in Iberia, it'd be cool to see you create a new culture that blends with some viking cultures and I'd like to see you avenge the Battle of Tours

@@OttawaWelshman That would be Northern Africa, Arabia and Persia that you still need. You can look up the borders of the Umayyad Caliphate to find a more precise answer.

You should avenge the battle of yours deduction, then try to recreate the “original Ummayad Caliphate”’s borders (all of North Africa plus Middle East all the way out to India and Anatolia.

It's honestly kinda insane how many special buildings exist on the Iberian peninsula now. There's 8 counties with special buildings and 9 if you're christian and count the holy site at Santiago.
I think it would be interesting if you conquered the entire map

@@OttawaWelshman It is the smart move, and that's why I am praising it. Personally, I usually end up with a partially unified country in no time with everyone hating my guts because of offensive war penalties.
I have learned the hard way that playing wide in this game is not advisable. Having a solid core domain with all the buildings that you need is better than having numerous vassals giving you 10-20% of their not optimized levies and money... specially because they can use the remaining percent to revolt.

How fostering revolt new, that was in ck2?
Reform culture. Get Industrious. Spam buildings for development (Fun fact: Replacing a building gives the development bonus as well). Get to like 200 gold per month.
On my save I created a custom kingdom of like 3 duchies with 10-15 counties total and I have 90k troops, 10k superior quality levies, 200 gold per month, and 100 development in most of my counties.
