Hello sweet friends,
In this weeks video, I am taking y'all along with me as I spend the coziest morning in my pajamas...drinking pumpkin spice lattes, watching my favorite fall content and of course decorating!! I don't have much "fall" decor left...as I have already decorated the rest of the house...so I have to do what I do best and this is get creative (and CRAFTY!).
I hope that you enjoy the video! It was a real autumntime labor love...both in the decorating and in the making of the video. Its a special one...for my favorite time of year!

One of many of the reasons I love your channel is your repurposing. So many go buy a car full of stuff and then decorate. Several of us grew up in simpler times. It shows you can use what you have, even paper bags. I made several of the paper bags last yr. Thank you for keeping it real and low cost so that more can do the same thing. Another lovely video❤️

So many ideas!. I love a room refresh. It’s usually just a matter of moving things around in your house. Like you I decided to not buy any fall decor this year. I’m using what I have and you already gave me such great ideas for bringing the outside in. I love the paper leaves and I think they are going to appear around my window at the kitchen sink. So cute. The weather has promised a slight cool down next week. I am so ready! As always I loved the video.

Good morning my dear friend! Hope you've had a blessed week! Honestly Christmas decor is all i really buy a good bit of.. other seasons/holidays i don't really have much for. I have a few spring/easter pieces & fall/thanksgiving pieces that i just add into my everyday decor. And I don't really move things or take anything down to pack up throughout the year, i love my everyday decor! However.. Christmas is just a bit different😁 I don't go way overboard but i do love to decorate for Christmas and have a couple bins of decor, and I may move some things & put somethings up to make room.. especially the top of my pretty large electric fireplace! Oh I love the green velvet curtains! You know that's my fav color💚😊 Using the glass sconce with pinecones under it is a really neat idea! I really like that! I had a big wicker basket with a metal handle on my front porch back in Tennessee with the birch logs in it. I think a basket of birch logs makes pretty decor in the fall & winter seasons. My dad passed in Match of 2000 & my mom in December of 2016.. it still seems like yesterday sometimes, and at times it feels like forever ago. Baby I miss them as much today as i did the day i lost them. I find myself wanting to cal my mom to ask questions, especially about cooking or plants, or about some of remedy when it comes to a sickness or pain. I'm loving all the pretty fall colored eucalyptus wreaths, garlands & stems everyone is using this year! The small wreaths are super popular. Oh Carin..i love the chandelier!😮 What a great, and smart, idea! I love things like chandeliers or pretty bird cages, anything really pretty, hanging in the corner of a room. That's really beautiful! Lol now you know I'm going to be looking for one for my bedroom that i can put candles in!😁 I love the desk, it looks really pretty in the space.. and such a cool idea! The butterflies are so whimsical & pretty!🦋 I've been looking for An old mantle for awhile. I wanted it for my living room, but now that i have my electric fireplace, i want it for either my bedroom or kitchen, it will depend on space. I love that fireplace.. that's what I'd love to have in the bedroom! My electric fireplace is in a large wood cabinet with a second shelf & bookcases on both ends. More modern looking, but it was gifted to me & I love it so much!❤ I do want the older antique mantle for my bedroom. If yours is one piece, can you link where it came from? The bag garland turned out really pretty! I just love that frame with the butterfly in it! I want one like that, or similar, with a cameo in it! I saw that idea probably almost a year ago & can't find an old cameo! I really dont want to order a new one but i might have to😏 That mirror on the ornate brass stand, or whatever metal it is, I'd gorgeous! Oh Carin the entire room is just so beautiful & cozy.. you are just so creative! Your home is always beautifully decorated! Your home is beautiful. I don't like decorating with paper. Paper decor doesn't do well in my house. Where I live is very humid. We get the cold and humidity from the polar zones. I'm also close to the beach. Our winters can be very moldy. Even when it's freezing outside we let our windows opened for air to circulate. I love how you pay attention to every corner of your home.
