Tune in for more episodes on painting kitchen cabinets, installing LVP and more. Beth turned down $100K offer from a flipper, she flipped it with her family and sold it for $270K with only $6K investment on materials.

Thank you so much for this. My ageing dad has every receipt for the past 20yrs! Starting to clean out so the task isn’t so great after he passes

Great advice and ideas for handling an emotionally and physically challenging project.
This makes me want to de-clutter my house and downsize my personal belongings to make this task easier for my family someday.
Thanks for sharing. In addition to this video your channel has some helpful topics. I’m a new subscriber.

Aw thanks. I keep promising my kids to clear out my diy and crafting gear. I have too much but not nearly what mom had. Be well!😉

My parents are elderly. I am their only child. I am very scared of all the headaches that can occur from them passing suddenly. My mother is a hoarder. We still have her mother’s tax returns from 1992.The comps in my area are $400K+ I don’t want to have to sell in a rush.

Beth is knowledgable, easy to understand and a great teacher. She knows the ins and outs of tasks and projects that other contractors don't know or don't care to share. Beth empowers women to take on challenges for self and home improvement. I am excited to apply the techniques for Flippin Mommas House to transforming our own. Thank you!

Hi Tibi. I have to apologize. The footage was lost. I was so upset. The SD card was lost after the house sold. ;(

@@DIYHIPChicks Sorry to hear that. :( My mother passed away this year. Dealing with her house now. Can I ask, why you did a yard sale, instead of estate sale. My mother's house is in a location that wouldn't allow furniture on the lawn and I don't think it would be feasible as the land isn't flat and weather unpredictable. Loved your wedding dress idea. I inherited a fur coat that I might turn into a handbag. Also, did you put anything into a storage facility? I'm thinking I will need one.

@@tibitaylor in mom's neighbor yard sales were very popular. And my mom loved a good yard sale ;) We did not store anything. We either sold it, donated it or the three of us kept a few pieces. It was a tough process. Emotionally I need the process to fully grieve. It helped me a lot
