Once again you two have helped me on my 20th century journey. Thank you very much. Maybe this is why I haven't been able to go to the optometrist and get a new pair of MY glasses. I also would like to thank you a lot for being a major part of my journey through time. By the way, congratulations on your new glasses Ms. Sarah. ❤
I have RX progressives and appreciate all the advances Ophthalmology has afforded us. It is fun to know how people over a 100 years ago got on. Thank you for your research😊
my mom was lucky to find in the 90s a pair of 1920s rimless silver and gold Numont glasses. I inherited them in perfect conditions and only a few months after I broke them in a mosh pit ajjsks lucky I've found an amazing jeweler who has had the patience and skill to fix them multiple times (broken from user error). they sit a bit crooked but I believe that's more to do with my own facial symmetry.. either way, I will never go back from vintage glasses, they truly are something else style wise and actually a lot more durable thqn one might think ♡♡
I'm going to get a pair from Townsends but don't know how they'll fit. They have plain lenses and 2+ lenses. I'm still trying to find someone who makes those frames in a 4+ and 6+ as my vision fluctuates throughout the day (from RK surgery decades ago) and I need different strengths for different tasks (from aging).
Pince-nez are my favourite style of spectacles.

As always I am smarter after your video. Thank you
As someone who wears glasses, I appreciate this video. It was such a good history lesson and also insight (no pun intended) into eyewear.
Just Right on time cause my old 20s glasses broke a few hours ago 😢❤
This is super cool

I think these glasses are wonderful.
Sarah, you look beautiful in glasses. ❤

I actually wear a pair of specs reproduction from Victorian era. Although prescription, but I look good.
❤❤❤❤
Fascinating! A lot of this is new info to me. I am watching this through my blue light glasses - definitely glasses of our times.
