Great overall review! I'm really liking how this figure turned out. The unmasked head is a great addition and I have some kitbash ideas I'll be putting together when mine arrives. Also- what song is that at the end of the video?
I like the updated body and the new unmasked head! The Vulcan body is fine, though I'm with you on preferring the ball waists to the swivel. I'll be gluing those bands at the top of the boots down. Hasbro didn't want to pay for creating a new boot piece (understandably because how much re-use can they get from Prowler's boots?), nor did they want to pay for gluing those boot bands down, but honestly a few drops of super glue, and that situation will be just fine. It's a minor inconvenience at best. A major inconvenience however is the big, rubber cape. This is one of the things that kills me about Marvel Legends figures in particular. Compared to DC Comics, Marvel has far fewer heroes and villains with capes, so you'd think we could get some cloth goods, wired capes every now and then. Remember that Doctor Strange figure from a year or two back? As good as it was, that clunky, heavy rubber cape limited his ability to stand. I put a custom, cloth, wired cape on him, and it improved the figure 10-fold! If it would have come with one from the start, it would have easily been my "Figure of the Year" instead of being a "decent" offering from Hasbro. Such details matter. Hasbro's been doing a lot better with the Legends line this year. The head sculpts are nice, and details have improved, but the rubber capes thing needs to change. Too many other companies offer better capes these days.
@@ArtGcollection You can't live a life a fear! You have to go forward, and see what life brings forth, and cross those bridges when you come to them. My hope is that someday, Hasbro will move away from the big, heavy, clunky rubber capes and join the 2020s with the other toy companies.
@@ArtGcollection i'll admit, it's not the same exact body though: there's a lot more wrinkles on the torso of the original Prowler, but the arms and legs are pretty identical with the exception of being pinless
It's technically not shadowing. It's part of the color scheme of the mask. The other/older figure is actually for the newer Prowler so it is different.

The Vulcan body is nearly perfect. Except it absolutely needs a ball joint for the torso 😂❤
and we know Marvel Legends can do a ball joint for the waist. Theyve done it before. It would change a whole lot for the series

my fear is that if or when they may incorporate soft capes it could be so cheap and thin just to make sure the costs stay the same.
