Sad you can’t play it on Xbox 1 nowadays. Bought it for 360 a while back in hopes of being able to play it despite the game not apart of Xbox’s backwards compatibility library anymore. The game looks so fun and has such a great story
Even if people don't like Downey playing him. Hopefully they do him right. He should be more intelligent than Banner/Reed, more tech than Stark and very close to Strange in terms of magic. Why is Doom a serious villain? Because he is a man who wants to be number 1 at everything and he has the intelligence/ability to make it happen.
I think this is going to be either a misdirect or a bait & switch. Where Downey won't be the main MCU Dr. DOOM but will most likely only for Doomsday or maybe even Secret Wars & the real MCU Dr. DOOM will end up being the person who destroys him.
Doom is my favorite of any character in comic book history. He's like Madara Uchiha and Sosuke Aizen mixed together and so much more. The greatest character ever.

That Reed RIchards is smarter than Doom is not even a proven commodity. Doom has outsmarted Reed on multiple occasions. He was able ot figure out the cause of the incursions when Reed couldn't. When the Antlion was threatening Earth, Doom was able ot come up with a solution, Reed couldn't. Plenty of other examples. What Doom really hates is that everyone sees Reed as smarter when it's more even than anything.
Reed is definitively smarter and arguably a couple others are as well. Doom has a much more intense resolve and also combines tech and magic. He’s got multiple skill sets while Reed and Dr Strange or even Iron Man each have one specific expertise. Doom is second best to all of them but combines all of their abilities with intense drive and arrogance.

But the reverse is also true, there have been stories where Doom bests Reed or comes up with solutions where Reed has none. It's the respect that is automatically attributed to Reed Richards but isn't granted to Doom that pisses Doom off the most. He has referred to this across many volumes, in addition to how smug and lacking in humility Reed is when screws up or is bested, which is also a bit of a fault in doom because it literally drives him nuts and leads him to mistakes of his own. All this is arguably why he loves Reeds daughter Valeria, because Valeria looks at both as equals, but also finds herself gravitating to Doom because she understands and acknowledges her own fathers limitations, while also knowing the limitations of Uncle Doom, but being smart enough to highlight them only when it's absolutely necessary.

Strange is the best at magic and reed is the best at overall knowledge. But doom is almost as good as them at their expertise all at the same time though. Stark is routinely described as the best in armor and weapons even though reed and doom build their own stuff.

I disagree about Doctor DOOM as a villain in the modern era, he is more of an anti-villain. Also I wish you had mentioned one important though recent fact about Dr. DOOM, is that Reed's' daughter is his goddaughter & is probably the only person in the universe he cares more about than himself.

No, it's not. Where you'd get a silly idea like that is beyond me. You really think Tony Stark wouldn't also have access to "future tech"? Read Iron Man #149-150, where IM not only travels through time WITH Doctor Doom, but completely dominates Doom the entire time. Also, Iron Man was a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy, for heaven's sake. He has access to tech from across the entire universe, as well as from anywhere in the timeline. Not to mention that Tony had the Infinity Gauntlet for years, and could have just WISHED for better tech than Doom, any time he wanted. I have no idea why people assume that the heroes are idiots.

In the Byrne revamp of Doom's origin, it is true that Victor only has a relatively small scar after his accident at ESU. However, he later puts the hot mask on his face and burns it badly, massively disfiguring himself. Also, I think that you mean he CANNOT breach the barrier that Galactus set up to keep the Surfer in - he crashes into that and is defeated. Whether or not Doom is "smarter" than Richards is open to debate, but it is certainly true that Doom is a master sorcerer and scientist while Richards is given by the writers a curious inability to understand "magic" because it supposedly clashes with his scientific understanding of the world. I think this is silly but it is a pretty consistent part of the character. The fact that Doom has no problem reconciling these supposedly irreconciliable areas of knowledge is a strong indication that he is intellectually superior to Richards in that respect.
Doom is such an epic character that if I was summoned by Marvel to write a story with Doom as the villain or make an original marvel story I’d never be able to perfectly replicate what makes him a dangerous threat
Dr. Doom is undeniably Marvel (and comicdom)'s best and greatest supervillain, yet he is more an antihero of late. Perhaps that's how he'll be presented in Avengers: Doomsday. Or, given that the Thunderbolts will be on hand in Avengers: Doomsday, perhaps he'll be their secret sponsor, setting up a storyline like Avengers: Under Siege, good luck to Doc, however, in finding a supervillain that can challenge Capt. Marvel. Dr. Doom vs. Thanos: Jim Starlin had set up Thanos out to impress Lady Death, his would be gal pal, but Doc's far more cunning. Like Tony Stark, he always has a contingency.

I don't believe Doom has "more tech" than Tony Stark,but he has equivalent levels of technology. The fact that he incorporates magic into his creations gives him the added advantage in a confrontation. He utterly wrecked Thanos during Secret Wars when he possessed the power of a God. With all his usual might,I don't think the outcome will be in Doom's favor. After all, Thanos can battle Galactus one on one. Even Doom has not dared this. Something to think on.🤔 Great video, dude.

The secret of Dr Doom is he is an over-the-top dramatic villain. He's a gypsy son of a witch. He's a mad scientist a sorcerer and yeah a little bit crazy because he runs around in a medieval suit of magic Armor that he upgraded till it was better than Iron Man's. He learned Kung Fu because you know why not!😂 He's Batman done the Marvel Way as a super villain!

@@blak238 This New RDJ Dr Doom most realistic story would be that it's a version of Tony Stark that got to the Iron Man suit mark 2 and stopped development of the suits and went dark side instead of fighting for good. The Iron Man mark 2 suit looks like Dr Dooms suit and has no flight ability. Then the mystical power's come from the grean infinity stone as it sounds like He has similar abilities to Dr Strange. So to summarise 1 His suit is the Iron man Mar 2 with no no flight ability, 2 He did dot deside to fight onnthe good side, 3 his has the green affinity stone.
Dr. Doom Ruler of Latveria. A true king like T'Challa and Namor. Tech & Weaponry better than Tony Stark. Intellegence that can rival Reed Richards. Magic and Sorcery on the level of Dr. Strange. I've watched a few videos of this ~type at this point and I find them a bit too cheesy for my taste. Not to mention they usually explore like ~ B) or even C) tier characters just for ~content... But I did, however, as I've said... still been tempted to click on a few of characters that are also liked by me just to "compare notes" and Admittedly in spite of their ~once again... cheesiness (because it is after all speculated "anatomy" of an already fictional being... that is a lil bit over the board for even a science fiction fan of myself... but when done with style and like sources and stuff... a.k.a. like in here... undeniably ~Catchy it also is (see ... Cheesy but Catchy... this is the synthesis of all the previous lines of text, but I just couldn`t start of there). I also apparently am still not "old enough" to be fully honest "evil characters enjoyer" (if Age have anything to do and according to what I think at least I have heard as a quote from Mell Gibson it does). And dully note I probably mean ~mental age. What I am saying by that is that for an example... I do go ahead and "enjoy" Dr. Strange... latest presented by Benedict Cucumber (I am sorry I had to + I am too lazy to google guy`s actual family name). But Dr. Doom... IDK... I have few "worries" on that note... Like since when he is "that powerful"? Isn`t that just a flavor of the month and a warm up hype for the next Marvel Upcoming movie?... I've watch a clip Comparing Thanos versus whoever the real big bad was in DC universe (I am sure I will later on remember eventually, but for now I am sticking to the no googling thing... But you know... the one from Justice League) and they both fought and survived and in certain cases killed some of the actual respective gods of their realms. If we go ahead and state that "Heroes and Villains are still in fact minor characters playing with trivial things as good and evil while Gods " One does not simply judge the connotation of God`s actions... god acts and it`s happened... there is no judgement and rating over that since there is no one over God and to re state it... one does not simply judge God.. God Judges you... now since in those realms we do use "gods plural" so that there is some sort of intrigue and camps.. even if still beyond the good/evil meta already ~just who`s side interests will prevail assuming both side`s interests are not due to evaluation on the simplistic black & white mortals scale of values and ~stuff... Meaning that one camp would be able to eventually attempt and inflict retribution over the other`s actions which can also be viewed as punishment, which is what enforces what we call judgment and gives it any sort of worth. Stuffs just "condemned" are really actually upheld with no actual direct drawback... even if some of them are "self imposing" and in the long run the draw back becomes apparent even without direct enforcement. Like I am feeling kind of obliged to start a new paragraph here on straight up completely different topic with more of a random tl.dr. thing in before I go back to my Dr. Doom thoughts to state that probably SW is loosing because no crew have the guts to write realistic not actually bad but just powerful Sith that actually is winning and the Jedi turning out to be a bunch of retards... Losing to Star Trek that is... because it is acceptable for the villains in those realms to be some sort of stupid/defect/error that is o.k. and admirable to be dealt with. While Star Wars realm cannot tolerate paper straws (could have typed this wrong without googling) for opponents without loosing credibility for that. And if you argue that even the original 3 villains weren`t that much of a big deal... well I suppose that is for a reason and also also... in long term the consequences of that will be some serious lighting bolts sustained rather than space progress and exploration. Don`t ask me how and why o_0 I am after all making all of this up :P. So last time I checked out Dr.Doom (the one I actually cared about) he were presented by the guy from Nip / Tuck and there was also Jessica Alba in it. Since it was one of the first of it`s kind for it`s time I didn`t understand it to the point I thought I practically watched B tier movie. I mean it weren`t Blade or the Matrix... In my back than brain... it weren`t even Under Siege or James Bond with like Pierce Brosnan. Were like kind of attempt for animated movie but with real life actors... I swear I've seen some of that action in my even earlier years in Captain Planet... You know the one with the element rings and the avatar popping up out of combining their powers. However I have seen a few YT videos about it (not so long ago) and well... Dark Angel is a TV show that (let`s not overly glorify it... ... let`s not) practically "helped me grow up" (not that I did grow up that much) and obviously alongside tons of other things... to the point of it being a ~miniscule thing... but still a kind of a "core" of something that on it`s tiny size held out to something on top of it... kind of like a foundation. Sort of like (if I have to compare it to something) kind of like Dragon Age Origins did for me a bit in games... There have always been a bigger on going thing alongside... of course... but after all we human beings are complex things and we are not just totally "one trick ponies" we all have our quirks and features like a car in Douge Muerto`s car channel (I've probably butchered that)... and some of them sprout of out of exactly things like TV Shows and Games we've played... and of course people we've meat and knew, songs, cars even... pets for some (possibly for me too)... some of our own actions... impressions of other`s actions and reactions of actions... etc. etc. But yeah... I think it`s a severe case of something being overly hyped. For the sake of Cash grab... It better not be, but I cannot see it not being so. Even the actor behind the character is not convincing me.
I really don't like the name Avengers Doomsday. Anyway I hope they at least loosely follow Time Runs Out throughout phase 6 leading up to The Secret Wars movie

I think that Robert Downey Jr will do a good job and play the role well. I can’t see anyone else as Doom at this point, although I DO think that they are milking Downey too much ! I would like him to go back to doing more regular movies or dramatic roles (Or put his comedic talents to good use , but more in movies along the lines of Kiss Kiss Bang Bang .).

I thought that the actor from nip/tuck was actually a good DOOM. Pascal would be awesome as DOOM unlike Mr fantastic who shouldn't be race swapped. He doesn't look anything like the character. The guy who's already played mr fantastic/Reed Richard's in dr strange is perfect.

Doctor Doom is a anti-hero at worst. He is guilty of being an arrogant, popus, self entitled dick, but he is very often proven to be right. He usual scuffles with heroes are all started by them trying to stop him from taking over the world. But if you look at his plans they are all about him obtaining enough power to take over with the least amount of casualties. And while some people in Latvaria hate him it's because he isolates them from the rest of the world and forces a less technological life on them; however, his rule has brought peace, stability, and prosperity to his people as well. The constant invasion attempts stopped. Corrupt political figures were all punished, there is no standing army since Doom bots handle almost all defensive measures. There is no poverty, hunger, or homelessness. Hell at one point the Black Panther spirit deemed Doctor Doom as a worthy welder of its power. What Doom needs is a PR team, more nap time, and let his people have the Internet.

Canonically, Doom was taken down by Squirrel Girl. (And if that triggers you, maybe you should re-evaluate why you read comics. Good is SUPPOSED to overcome evil. Bad-guys exist to be beaten by good-guys.) As for his "strengths"... Doom's tech has never been anywhere near Tony Starks, his skill as a scientist is nowhere close to Reed Richards, and his magic is inferior to Stephen Strange. Doom is second-rate at everything he does. His only real strength is that he's a bronze medalist in a lot of different areas. That, and he's a sociopath who's willing to murder innocent people, whereas the heroes are not. I'm not sure exactly when Comic fandom decided to idolize characters like the Joker and Doctor Doom, but it's repellent. It's like watching Schindler's List and rooting for Amon Goeth.
Reed could NEVER understand dooms tech/magic inventions not having any magical aptitude, so to point out a miscalculation is more Richard's bllsht/writer's bllsht.

In the Byrne revamp of Doom's origin, it is true that Victor only has a relatively small scar after his accident at ESU. However, he later puts the hot mask on his face and burns it badly, massively disfiguring himself. Also, I think that you mean he CANNOT breach the barrier that Galactus set up to keep the Surfer in - he crashes into that and is defeated. Whether or not Doom is "smarter" than Richards is open to debate, but it is certainly true that Doom is a master sorcerer and scientist while Richards is given by the writers a curious inability to understand "magic" because it supposedly clashes with his scientific understanding of the world. I think this is silly but it is a pretty consistent part of the character. The fact that Doom has no problem reconciling these supposedly irreconciliable areas of knowledge is a strong indication that he is intellectually superior to Richards in that respect.

I don't believe Doom has "more tech" than Tony Stark,but he has equivalent levels of technology. The fact that he incorporates magic into his creations gives him the added advantage in a confrontation. He utterly wrecked Thanos during Secret Wars when he possessed the power of a God. With all his usual might,I don't think the outcome will be in Doom's favor. After all, Thanos can battle Galactus one on one. Even Doom has not dared this. Something to think on.🤔 Great video, dude.

The Iron Man mark 2 suit looks like Dr Dooms suit and has no flight ability. Then the mystical power's come from the grean infinity stone as it sounds like He has similar abilities to Dr Strange. So to summarise 1 His suit is the Iron man Mar 2 with no no flight ability, 2 He did dot deside to fight onnthe good side, 3 his has the green affinity stone.

I've watched a few videos of this ~type at this point and I find them a bit too cheesy for my taste. Not to mention they usually explore like ~ B) or even C) tier characters just for ~content... But I did, however, as I've said... still been tempted to click on a few of characters that are also liked by me just to "compare notes" and Admittedly in spite of their ~once again... cheesiness (because it is after all speculated "anatomy" of an already fictional being... that is a lil bit over the board for even a science fiction fan of myself... but when done with style and like sources and stuff... a.k.a. like in here... undeniably ~Catchy it also is (see ... Cheesy but Catchy... this is the synthesis of all the previous lines of text, but I just couldn`t start of there). I also apparently am still not "old enough" to be fully honest "evil characters enjoyer" (if Age have anything to do and according to what I think at least I have heard as a quote from Mell Gibson it does). And dully note I probably mean ~mental age. What I am saying by that is that for an example... I do go ahead and "enjoy" Dr. Strange... latest presented by Benedict Cucumber (I am sorry I had to + I am too lazy to google guy`s actual family name). But Dr. Doom... IDK... I have few "worries" on that note... Like since when he is "that powerful"? Isn`t that just a flavor of the month and a warm up hype for the next Marvel Upcoming movie?... I've watch a clip Comparing Thanos versus whoever the real big bad was in DC universe (I am sure I will later on remember eventually, but for now I am sticking to the no googling thing... But you know... the one from Justice League) and they both fought and survived and in certain cases killed some of the actual respective gods of their realms. If we go ahead and state that "Heroes and Villains are still in fact minor characters playing with trivial things as good and evil while Gods " One does not simply judge the connotation of God`s actions... god acts and it`s happened... there is no judgement and rating over that since there is no one over God and to re state it... one does not simply judge God.. God Judges you... now since in those realms we do use "gods plural" so that there is some sort of intrigue and camps.. even if still beyond the good/evil meta already ~just who`s side interests will prevail assuming both side`s interests are not due to evaluation on the simplistic black & white mortals scale of values and ~stuff... Meaning that one camp would be able to eventually attempt and inflict retribution over the other`s actions which can also be viewed as punishment, which is what enforces what we call judgment and gives it any sort of worth. Stuffs just "condemned" are really actually upheld with no actual direct drawback... even if some of them are "self imposing" and in the long run the draw back becomes apparent even without direct enforcement.
Like I am feeling kind of obliged to start a new paragraph here on straight up completely different topic with more of a random tl.dr. thing in before I go back to my Dr. Doom thoughts to state that probably SW is loosing because no crew have the guts to write realistic not actually bad but just powerful Sith that actually is winning and the Jedi turning out to be a bunch of retards... Losing to Star Trek that is... because it is acceptable for the villains in those realms to be some sort of stupid/defect/error that is o.k. and admirable to be dealt with. While Star Wars realm cannot tolerate paper straws (could have typed this wrong without googling) for opponents without loosing credibility for that. And if you argue that even the original 3 villains weren`t that much of a big deal... well I suppose that is for a reason and also also... in long term the consequences of that will be some serious lighting bolts sustained rather than space progress and exploration. Don`t ask me how and why o_0 I am after all making all of this up :P.
So last time I checked out Dr.Doom (the one I actually cared about) he were presented by the guy from Nip / Tuck and there was also Jessica Alba in it. Since it was one of the first of it`s kind for it`s time I didn`t understand it to the point I thought I practically watched B tier movie. I mean it weren`t Blade or the Matrix... In my back than brain... it weren`t even Under Siege or James Bond with like Pierce Brosnan. Were like kind of attempt for animated movie but with real life actors... I swear I've seen some of that action in my even earlier years in Captain Planet... You know the one with the element rings and the avatar popping up out of combining their powers. However I have seen a few YT videos about it (not so long ago) and well... Dark Angel is a TV show that (let`s not overly glorify it... ... let`s not) practically "helped me grow up" (not that I did grow up that much) and obviously alongside tons of other things... to the point of it being a ~miniscule thing... but still a kind of a "core" of something that on it`s tiny size held out to something on top of it... kind of like a foundation. Sort of like (if I have to compare it to something) kind of like Dragon Age Origins did for me a bit in games... There have always been a bigger on going thing alongside... of course... but after all we human beings are complex things and we are not just totally "one trick ponies" we all have our quirks and features like a car in Douge Muerto`s car channel (I've probably butchered that)... and some of them sprout of out of exactly things like TV Shows and Games we've played... and of course people we've meat and knew, songs, cars even... pets for some (possibly for me too)... some of our own actions... impressions of other`s actions and reactions of actions... etc. etc.
But yeah... I think it`s a severe case of something being overly hyped. For the sake of Cash grab... It better not be, but I cannot see it not being so. Even the actor behind the character is not convincing me.

I think that Robert Downey Jr will do a good job and play the role well. I can’t see anyone else as Doom at this point, although I DO think that they are milking Downey too much ! I would like him to go back to doing more regular movies or dramatic roles (Or put his comedic talents to good use , but more in movies along the lines of Kiss Kiss Bang Bang .).

Though I would have liked to have seen about the Doombots that actually think that they are Doom until the real Dr. Doom shows up, this was pretty good. Especially about his prowess at wielding magic.
I thought that the actor from nip/tuck was actually a good DOOM. Pascal would be awesome as DOOM unlike Mr fantastic who shouldn't be race swapped. He doesn't look anything like the character. The guy who's already played mr fantastic/Reed Richard's in dr strange is perfect.

Doctor Doom is a anti-hero at worst. He is guilty of being an arrogant, popus, self entitled dick, but he is very often proven to be right. He usual scuffles with heroes are all started by them trying to stop him from taking over the world. But if you look at his plans they are all about him obtaining enough power to take over with the least amount of casualties. And while some people in Latvaria hate him it's because he isolates them from the rest of the world and forces a less technological life on them; however, his rule has brought peace, stability, and prosperity to his people as well. The constant invasion attempts stopped. Corrupt political figures were all punished, there is no standing army since Doom bots handle almost all defensive measures. There is no poverty, hunger, or homelessness. Hell at one point the Black Panther spirit deemed Doctor Doom as a worthy welder of its power.
What Doom needs is a PR team, more nap time, and let his people have the Internet.

Canonically, Doom was taken down by Squirrel Girl. (And if that triggers you, maybe you should re-evaluate why you read comics. Good is SUPPOSED to overcome evil. Bad-guys exist to be beaten by good-guys.) As for his "strengths"... Doom's tech has never been anywhere near Tony Starks, his skill as a scientist is nowhere close to Reed Richards, and his magic is inferior to Stephen Strange. Doom is second-rate at everything he does. His only real strength is that he's a bronze medalist in a lot of different areas. That, and he's a sociopath who's willing to murder innocent people, whereas the heroes are not. I'm not sure exactly when Comic fandom decided to idolize characters like the Joker and Doctor Doom, but it's repellent. It's like watching Schindler's List and rooting for Amon Goeth.
Reed could NEVER understand dooms tech/magic inventions not having any magical aptitude, so to point out a miscalculation is more Richard's bllsht/writer's bllsht.
