    For everyone out there who’s watched these videos and who have subscribed to Deadliest Kast Fishing channel, I want you to know that a few others and myself went out on 6/11/22 I’m confident that when I say “WE ALL HAD A BLAST” Captain Steave Literally put us on top of fish all over the Bay from SFO in South San Francisco to the “Golden Gate Straight” to we fished Alcatraz Island, we fished Treasure Island, we fished the Berkley Flats to OAK! If you want to catch fish Deadliest Kast Fishing and Captain Steave Gutierrez along with Deck Hand Trevor, theses guys have a combined 50 + years of Bay fishing knowledge!!! My advice to anyone out there if you want to have a great time catching Fish in the San Francisco Bay forget the rest contact the best!!!! #deadliestkastfishing

    • @DeadliestKastFishing
      @DeadliestKastFishing  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I can’t give it all away now right lol? This is just a general idea and introduction into halibut trolling. Halibut can found all over the San Francisco Bay wherever you can find a sandy bottom. Also Halibut come in close to spawn in the spring and summer time. Getting time on the water is the best knowledge as you can’t add your own twist to it good luck out there and thanks for watching. 🤙🤙

    Great video. Made my mouth water. The Peruvian ceviche was right on with only one comment. You can marinate your red onion separately and then add it to the ceviche with out the juice. This would eliminate the possible pungent taste of the onion to transfer to the fish. Thank you

    So I got one of those bladed hoochies it’s got its own leader, how do I tie it on the line, do i just take the leader and hook off of it, run my own leader thru the holes and then use a swivel to hold it in place?
    Edit: ..then you catch that fish on the hoochie, so it needs to have the hook still. My bladed hoochie is a Scotty brand, it’s on a leader that got a snap on one end and a hook on the other, and the hoochie itself just slides up and down its entire leader. I would very much appreciate seeing how you rig that hoochie please, I’m going Sunday today is Thursday night...

    Do you ever use a bobber stop before and after the single hook that's above the stinger hook to avoid tying a snell? I prefer that way, just wondered if you have used that method before. Cheers.

    • @DeadliestKastFishing
      @DeadliestKastFishing  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No I can’t say I ever have I wonder if it works with heavier line? I have no problem snelling hooks I feel a little more secure with my knots. But that’s not a bad idea you have got.

    • @DeadliestKastFishing
      @DeadliestKastFishing  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No need to freeze it I go through the fish very thoroughly you normally only find parasites near the collar and belly area they are very obvious they look like a red spiral ring lol you can just pull em out. But in a ceviche the limes cooks the fish with its acidity. Give it a bout two hours to properly cook the fish. Try it out it’s delicious
