Jessie and her husband are my new favourite TH-camrs to watch, even as a local. I've been watching her content for a couple months now. Super knowledgeable couple -- Jessie's research skills are on point and she shares great value to her audience. Really cool to watch her channel's growth, as well as her personal growth setting up a life here in Malaysia. Awesome to see you two collab!
I have watched this interview for several times and recommended it to my friends too. The most interesting part is that Jessie does not always agree with Sean so we can assimilate ideas from different perspectives as an overseas Chinese as well as from that of the locals. Truly inspiring. Would appreciate it greatly if Sean could make a tax expert interview to elaborate on property taxes including capital gains taxes and rental income taxes, in addition to miscellaneous compulsory costs occurring to the landlords both as house residents or non resident investors. For lots of overseas investors, it’s a very important factor for them to consider when deciding whether or not to invest in Malaysia property or whether it’s worthwhile for them to relocate to Malaysia as a retirement solution.
Iherng you have post so many2 properties at you tube & which is the best properties you ever seen your entire whole life? Wow!! You have gone to penang, perak, selangor & even sabah. I really appreciate what did you have done & I'm so impress your hard work. Wish you good health & take care...
Actually there is one big exception about property marketed to foreigners : Park Regent. It was marketed in Hong Kong and Singapore with the help of Capitaland due to its premium price. It turns out to be the most successful condo in term of appreciation in Desa Parkcity.
Yeah , no choice to promote MM2H to invite expats to migrate here to clear the existing stocks . I have a phobia to see cranes everywhere in the city. Sometimes I tried to “have fun” by counting the number of cranes within my eye reach ..
But you can have oversupply and speculation at the same time. Sean says you should own three properties, which is impossible for everyone to do in a normal and not speculative market. The price to salaries / disposable income is ny favourite metric. Can the local population afford the real estate prices?
somehow the KL situation now is good balance of both. u have specific locations that cater to expats, and it helps the economy. then oversupply of houses for own living at all other more "local" locations
When Park City launched their landed in early 2005, its below 500k 😂 and people in Kepong was complaining "ccrazy!!" Great video again Sean! I'd love to talk to Jessie too in videos just that i'd sway back to cars 😂😂 To add, nestled in the middle of Desa Park City, TTDI, Mont Kiara, Bangsar, Bukit Damansara, is KLGCC Resort, fantastic place too
Jesse is a very smart girl with good taste, I love watching her very informative good vlogs, iherng has little knowledge about Portugal, She is the real deal.
The energy rating is important in a warm climate because you do not have to run the AC full blast when you have better insulation and shaded windows. The hotels I stayed in had concrete directly and as soon as you turned off the AC the temperature went to the outside temp directly. Correctly placed solar cells in West-E and Nort-S directions is another competence needed. Science!
Weather? The next thing is Genting premium villas and residence. Cool and just 35min to KL. Private international schools, hospital, amenities, nature, all great food. All in 18 to 25 degress celsius all day!
No matter who goes up next, please please PLEASE take a close look at malaysia's true potential and work on it. Our people are chill but not just lazy, people dont just work for nothing, salary is one thing but most of the time people see achievement and success as something bigger than just money.
We just bought in Lahat, erak near Ipoh. Why not KL? To crowded, Traffic jam, more expensive and over hyped. Our focus is quality of life not so focused on investment. Keep on mind: Last shirt has no pockets. Live first.
Mont kiara mentioned so many times.. 😅 Venture further; explore landed property; design n renovation your dream home; comfort of your home with you loved ones; drive in to your own space; there’s club house around too. Hv kid garden parties; high tea parties; Part time cleaners can do all the work. Liberate
Well it’s still undeniably the location with the highest concentration of international schools with pedestrian convenience. Maybe you can suggest one alternative to Mont Kiara? Because I’m looking for it too:)
Given the persisting global economic crisis, it's essential for individuals to focus on diversifying their income streams independent of governmental reliance. This involves exploring options such as stocks, gold, silver, and digital currencies. Despite the adversity in the economy, now is an opportune moment to contemplate these investment avenues.
I must salute to perdana parkcity developer was positioning their township to become expat friendly community area back then and eventually overtake mont kiara /bangsar area. And i heard they going to create another smiliar township at Cyberjaya as well. Lets see whether they can repeat the history again or not 😂
Iol property has became a consumable item. It is wise to save in EPF which more a certainty in every year yield up at least 4.5% return. In asia, there is only a country name Taiwan which their property will be exponentially increased for next ten years which backed by their superior semiconductor industry that no one able to catch up . On further than that, Even Anglo saxon countries like Canada not seem to be sustainable. The new economy model will be adjusted the property price by the demand and supply equation.
Property price in Malaysia increased about 4% per annum for the past decade. So the yield of EPF could barely catch up with inflation. By the time we are 50 years old, the amount of money saved with interest most likely cannot buy the same exact property of today. So my advice is to do both, use our credit to get the property and continue saving our money into EPF.
