Yes, 2 those shots I receive when needed by my orthopedic doctor - in the meantime - I use limited amounts of Oxycodone SO I can walk w/walker in house and outside at 78 yrs. of age, @@debrajames6316

Hi, I'm a C4 incomplete...I'm assuming he's a fairly new C4 complete? You'd be amazed at how much comes back when the nerves in the spinal cord calm down. I was actually walking. I wasn't the most graceful...and if you have lost sensation in the legs, your balance will be garbage...but if I may make a suggestion...get him moving in a manual chair. The saying 'you will lose it if you don't use it' is so definitely true for quads. He may insist on 'dip' because he knows he can use those muscles. I subscribed and look forward to your videos. Your baby is adorable.

I wish I had that incentive. You must be an amazing person sticking with him. I wish you the very best luck in the world as well. I am not so much a religious person, but I have a great amount of faith in having faith and believing in yourself. You guys can do this!
Only use a manual chair if it promotes independence imo. I'm in a power chair and I'd not use a manual as I'd have to have carers take me everywhere. Independence and quality of life are very important. And different things work for different people!!

I've been watching you vlogs for a couple of week. Mom, you look to tired! Congratulations on getting your GED. What I'm not seeing is any effort y'all's part to work toward gaining the skills to get work and be able to support yourselves without having to beg for money. There are plenty attachments for wheel chairs that allow the use of a computer.

It's to prevent bed sores. My mother was bed bound and she had to wear special shoes in bed
