Addtional Note: For the PLE command that Opens the main folders, you could also add a name filter (last in the list) Name > Contains > Paramat 1 (type your symbol)
Genius. : ) I rearranged my entire workflow because I couldn't get this to work and started using Workspaces/Configurations instead (which cause their own problems), but now I'll try this. Thank you. : ) Kind regards, Darren (Wales, UK)
When building commands that change the view of something, (for example open / close folders), it’s best to avoid using Toggle functions with PLE commands. All they do is inverse the state of something (that’s been targeted or selected). For example, if folder A Is OPEN and folder B Is CLOSED - Toggle will swap them around. A becomes CLOSED, B becomes OPEN. Kind of counter intuitive.. I find it’s best to work dedicated Open / Close, Show / Hide, Select / Deselect commands into a PLE command or Macro, as it’ll force Cubase to behave as intended.
This technique is superb if I had seen it before I might have done it differently For my part I completely deleted the subfolders to have greater visibility and avoid this staircase effect which takes up a lot of space I created a very large quantity of PLEs to access all my tracks but I use a touch screen with the 14bitMIDI Sherlock plugin But in any case very good work the PLEs and macros allow you to do a lot of things
Thanks! I know what you mean about the staircase effect… I avoid having more than 1 set of Subfolders nested to a main folder. Folders in folders in folders, gets confusing! Lol
I use the free Cubase App to assign macros (with key commands bound in Cubase) to buttons. The app communicates with Cubase so it can list all available commands you have setup.

How are you navigating this with StreamDeck?
