I think for a College student like me who mainly uses a laptop for school related apps like Google, Google Classroom, YT etc. In my opinion this is much better, specially for people who are not going to do a heavy editing or gaming. Disclaimer, I don't have this tablet but i have a lenovo Laptop.
My laptop died and I happened to have this tablet. I would up not fixing my laptop. The factory keybord is awesome. I had the windows tablet keyboard, which is a total POS, I had three of them. The Lenovo keyboard is great. I didn't us the pen. The only problems I had with it, the cursor would disappear sometimes just disconnect the keyboard and reattach. And cutting and pasting took getting used to the gestures on android. It replaced my laptop and I added 256g SDxhx card for $75. This is the largest size card you can use.

Lots of other TH-camrs have complained about the screen and the overall lack of processing power when compared to the Tab S7 - but it's very hard to judge a product from TH-camr's reviews as they are constantly comparing products against others, and don't always judge the products on their individual merits. I have the matepad pro. And I'm actually considering switching to the p11 pro. Specs wise, the matepad pro is faster overall. The main upside I see from using p11 pro is the ease of accessing google apps. It's also easier to resell when the time comes. Which one did you end up getting?
You mentioned something about the camera which every youtubers does. I don't know why you guys don't realise that there are fantastic uses for cameras on tablets. It just sounded you copied every tech youtuber which sounds monotonous. There are some brilliant apps that take advantage of the camera particularly educational. Coaches eye and app that let's you do side by side comparisons of your technique. There are a number of sports app that do similar thing such as homecourt ai that let's you play basketball whilst teaching you using ai tech. Also to edit photos on a bigger screen straight after taking the pic. Not sure how you youtubers don't pick up on this. Clearly if there wasn't a market for the camera to be on a tablet they would have removed it years ago.

There's a new version of that tablet and that has the Snapdragon 870 which's very good and a much more capable device on my opinion.
For Stylus feature and smooth productivity support I would suggest go for Tab S7 FE
