Stihl Contra Lightning

A customer’s and fellow collector’s Stihl Contra Lightning that I’ve just finished up.
Rebuilt with all genuine Stihl parts. NOS and excellent second hand parts went into this very enjoyable build. Original Mahle cylinder went through the usual procedures as did the original piston. All were well within spec and are now back doing their job.
A beautiful saw that’s still in amazing original condition.
I’m passionate about all saws, but building something like this and hearing it run for the first time in god knows how long is very, very satisfying.
This is the history we need to preserve. 🙂
