Ecuador Galápagos Islands San Cristóbal National Park

Galápagos Island Ecuador. We took a 3-week trip to the Galapagos Islands on our own in August and visited the islands of Santa Cruz, Isabela and San Cristobal. The islands are home to endemic animals and plant species that are not found anywhere else in the world. The theory of evolution was developed here thanks to Charles Darwin. We lived for 3 weeks with Galapagos tortoises, water and land iguanas, sea lions and pelicans. The animal world is fascinating and the landscapes in the Pacific are very diverse and impressive. We were able to admire and discover the countless bird species and the Darwin finch and flamingos every day. The islands are very fascinating for wildlife lovers.
