The Rear Seat does have a manual override. It is a little more difficult. Remove the rubber pad in the door pocket, remove the little square tab and pull the strap...

@@Patrick.P As far as I know, it is done that was intentionally due to the fact that it overrides the Childs Safety lock system. You would not want a child to be able to release the handle and fall out... All US cars have child safety lock and if it is set there is no way to open a rear door from the inside on any car sold in American. To my knowledge, Tesla is the only company that has a door letting you override the Child Safety Lock....
I just found a video showing what you're talking about.
But my 2020 Model 3 doesn't seem to have the square under the rubber pad!
Edit: Looks like it's a feature of the Model Y specifically.

There are hidden manual overrides in the back door pockets. You have to remove the rubber mat and a little lid under witch there is a handle.

The trunk area is still probably not a good place to put people because when jack pulled the manual open latch inside the trunk, there was actually beeping in the background, telling the driver that the TRUNK IS OPEN.

In the back, there was a bit of the silver trim you pull to open the door (at least in the 2020 model 3 we test drove)
In the back, the manual door opener is under the false floor of the storage compartment in the door. It's very hard to get out without a tool.

actually there is a rear door manual release, it's in the door pocket at the bottom, under the rubber thingy in there, there's a plastic clip you need to take off in the middle somewhere, and then theres a white pull and that opens the rear door.

when youtubers talk about their sponsors i normally skip, but when its jack, i always watch it just for the fun of it
The emergency release handle for the Tesla Model 3 is not in the same place for the front try looking under the seats. The emergency release handle or should I say pool table and the Tesla Model y is in the little cubby at the bottom of the door under the mat which is under a little door that you need something to pry off and there's a little white wire / rope that you pull. The emergency release handle may also be above the seats I do not know where it is at but it has one somewhere in the back. Check tfl car TH-cam channel for their issues with the Tesla Model y in the door not opening in them having to use the emergency release handle
