I used to own and lived in Carmel by the sea for 11 years. That was my daily walks. Carmel was mostly cloudy and cold. Now I live in Maui and 4 years one. Fantastic climate! Sunny days year round! The Beaches have warm water. Couldn’t have ask ask for more!
I love caramel. It's one of the most fantastic places on Earth. Hawaii just makes me nauseous. I mean nothing ever changes. Sunny everyday, and absolutely nothing cultural to do. But hey, if all you're interested in is getting a town I guess it's worth it to you.
Hawaii keeps everything traditionally as much as they can which we love. The residents are generous, happy and hang loose. Most Hawaiians are poor, but they are very happy and family oriented. It’s a privilege to live here on the island. Carmel has also lot of generous people who live there. They are rich in many generations. It was a privilege to live there for 11years.
@@bjornstarkiller8077 yes, for young people as well, if you like to surf, except the water is extremely cold like year round. It would be good place to surf. Also, if the younger groups like to play golf, the best place for the sport. Bon fire is another fun gathering at the beach.
It 's even better in person! Lovely start to the day walking or jogging along the cliffs and beach, maybe see Clint out and about and Doris Day. Doesn't get any better.
I am going there this weekend and wanted to see how Carmel looks Soo I came across ur channel! Now i am excited for my trip! I am from Korea and this is my first time visitng California
It is. I used to never buy a newspaper or turn on the news. I selfishly didn't want not know what strife was going on outside the peninsula. A horse back ride through the forest down to the beach was heavenly. I used to think I would do the job of the scout rider for FREE.
My favorite spot was the southern end where the driver pulls into the beach parking lot. Not as crowded in that beautiful crescent of sand and sea. Peaceful.
it will be twelve years soon since i was in carmel with my dad mitchell and aunties i was 18 years old then - nice video to watch tonight - thanks Andrew rachel from queensland australia
@@TravelingwithAndrew i am sure! It's visual candy, everywhere you look it flowers beautiful homes restaurants walk ways and ocean front sometimes. Very dog friendly, which I personally love. Peaceful, all ages. And people look well behaved and I'm sure have a lot of money to live so comfortably. Awww how lucky can you get!
For Me this is not what I call scenic. Way too congested with so much going on. I'm looking for something quieter and not so busy. Thanks for sharing. The video is helpful.

Worth the trip. YOu can find peace and quiet.
You're passing by homes of celebs all along the coastline. Old and young.
