Listening to this after finishing the final book in the Warhammer 40K Siege of Terra series, The End and The Death Volume III. Listening to this song fills me with all the bittersweet defiance and indomitable spirit of all those that lost their lives during the Warmaster's unholy onslaught. But it also fills me with no small amount of gladness that even a few Iron Hands were able to make it to Holy Terra in time to man the walls of the Imperial Palace with our cousins of the Imperial Fists, White Scars and Blood Angels legions, alongside innumerable regiments of the Exertus Imperialis. Let it be forever known that the sons of Ferrus Manus saw their duty to the end, and stood upon the walls of the Final Fortress against the teeming hordes of Chaos, and were not found wanting. Blessings of the Emperor and the Machine God be upon you all. Ave Imperator, Gloria in excelsis Terra.
This is my new favorite song of all time. The reason? It is finally a dubstep song that perfectly blends the beautiful melodies and baselines of trance music along with the right vocals and some break beats towards the end. And the quality of doing this is perfect. And when those saw synths kick in - just wowwwww. You are truly an artist in composing- major props and please keep them coming!

And what really fascinates me is that they're unbelievable artist on their own, but when they unite... it's like stepping into a different universe... just magical! Thats why I love them so much! :D
What sets good sounding Dubstep from heavenly Dubstep? Music and Vocals TOGETHER, not one, then the other. "But i can't help it... I'm not superhuman... i'm breaking... don't let me fall apart." Wub wub wub- wuuub- wub wub wub -wuuub -wubwub-wub-wuuuub-WUUUBBBB!!!
What I've noticed is that if you capitalize on one, the other becomes accompaniment. Like if you try to combine dubstep and rap, it's just mainly mediocre rap with half assed dubstep in the background. The point of dubstep, at least the good stuff, is for the instrumental structure of the genre to shine. You immediately take the attention away from that when you include vocals. Somehow, though, certain artists can interweave both of those so that they can both shine together. I think Koven is one of those artists. This doesn't take away from the fact that Au5 incorporating vocals in his songs are still H E A V E N L Y.
No idea why I haven't heard this one before, but golly I LOVE those sounds he did in the off-drop sections too! :D I'm also being able to come to see him in LA this Friday too, can't wait! :D

Once again Au5 releases a new remix that I just love. However, I still am tied between his remix of Singularity's Alone (him and Fractal's remix) and the remix he helped work on with IYFFE and Auratic of Singularity's Breathe. Anyways, great track as usual Au5! :D
