Question: I’m freaking out about keeping in touch with family back home while on Celebrity Equinox next month. We have basic Wi-Fi included. I’ve heard texting and calling is a yea by some and straight up no by others. Please help
@@EmmaCruises so it’s our first cruise ever. I’ve been told by others in roll call groups that they’ve had to upgrade to premium just to send texts back home. Others have said they were not able to send or receive calls or texts at all ever while on board. It’s all new to me so I’m not sure if I need to get a cell plan through my provider (Verizon) or something else. Thanks in advance. I love your channel
Oh, I see, you won't be able to send texts using your phone's network, that'll cost you a lot of money if you're at sea. But you can send messages through FB messenger, emails etc. Do you have a travel agent? This it the kind of thing they should be able to help you with. I booked a cruise on Norwegian for next summer... Greek Island cruise on NCL Epic. I'm in a "solo" cabin. It was a good price.

What do you mean? If you have Wi-Fi you’ll be in contact, it might just drop out or be bad quality for video calls, but it varies 😀
