Thankyou so much @Lisa Hayes it's been a hard few months this year but I also don't mind a good challenge🙂 Hunting for gold is certainly going to give us just that too...a good challenge! Not every day is easy finding the gold. However, I can't wait to be sharing tips, tricks and plenty of information on how and where I find it.

Nice machine luke. We might have to catch up at that site we have talked about ( edited ) . Nice camp grounds and still gold to be found and i know a few secrets sights out there that will get you excited relic wise.

A good machine, I hope you get some of those nuggets that are still waiting to be found.
I love the Bluetooth headphones; I use a silicone paste between the washers and coil lugs.
It's a nice lightweight machine, unlike the GPZ7000 which I love as well.

My first machine is a 4500 as well. Good luck with the 6000
A fantastic machine to the 4500 @Michael Henare although alot more going on regarding switches and dials etc. The 6000 is super simple now though...just a few buttons to play with but basically a switch on and go machine for gold👌 We just need to locate some for next time👍

Congratulations on your new GPX 6000 , 🎉 I would love one but finances not allowing it just a couple weeks ago new manticore and because I coils left over after giving my mate in US my NOX 800 and purchase Nox 900 and wanting GPX 5000 someday as well to gready 😅😅

Sux about loosing ypur job mate! Time to go out on your own with your own van as a contractor?? The van could then double as a metal detecting van lol. I cant hear the iorn tones without my headphones. I like the idea of the external speaker. Can u tell me a bit more on that like where you buy one and is it wireless etc? Or can you turn the ferrous tone up on the 900? Thanks, great to see you back mate!
It sure is @New Zealand Earthmover but that's life to mate. Just couldn't have come at a worse time 4 days after surgery though...I have horrible luck sometimes😆
That is a fantastic idea to mate, I could even do mobile mechanics aswell👌
I personally haven't ever owned or used an external speaker. Just use the built in speaker in detector or even the headphones if windy mate. My father-in-law uses an external bluetooth speaker though on his GPX 5000 hanging it off his harness right near his left hand shoulder and finds it very very handy! It's also nice and loud being positioned so close to your face and also allows you to not have to worry about headphones and the cords etc hanging off all day long.
Once we start getting into the goldfields and hunting for the Gold, I will be sure to show and share more as we go.

Ok thanks for that mate! Looking forward to seeing some gold hunting and of course the usual silver coin spill while detecting 👌. The speaker would be cool, although we do t really want any locals hearing them amazing silver tones too 😅.
I guess some things never work out well for us at the time, but on the other hand can be the best things when u look back on them. Maybe doing your own thing would allow more free time for family and detecting. Soon Zave will be old enough to drive you to the Gold field's! I hope whatever you do works out, and if not, you always have us fellow metal detecting buddy's here mate 👍. All the best Luke
