They're called adjustable pliers and locking pliers. Also, the name is called Channellock -- not Channel Locks. The same goes for Irwin. They're called Vice Grip -- not Vice Grips.

Vice grips can replace channel locks but channel locks cannot replace vice grips. Need to show some cobra pliers for new folks.

Irwin? That’s a name brand. Also gripS for multiple. Also TH-cam keeps autocorrecting to channel lock instead of channellock
