Hello, thank you so much for doing this review for me and for us! I am definitely going to buy a Pliage in this size next! That is real pity that they will not be doing sales on the Le Pliages anymore! I am from Ireland, and we do have a couple of department stores that sell Longchamp so I will be interested to see if they go on sale on their websites during big sales like Black Friday etc. I know the prices are going up, but I just think they are such fantastic bags that I do not mind paying for them! Although the Coin purse is now €60! Which is expensive considering its size, but I do love buying the matching coin purse when I get a new coloured Le Pliage 🤣

I wonder if Longchamp is endeavoring to move into more of a "beyond premium" category, into the true designer realm with higher prices, specializing in leather? The company is 75 years old and I'm astonished that they would discontinue their legendary Le Pliage nylon line. The Green line is more recent and they've been changing things around more in the past few years. Thank you very much for this information!
Hi Dianne 😘 maybe since english is not my mother language my explanation is not super clear 😉 In fact Longchamp will continue to make / produce Original and Green Pliage lines But they will no more be on sale! We will from now in Longchamp boutiques and homepage only buy them full price! Only special edition pliage (like in the Pliage collection line) will be on sale. Or you may have the posssibility to find some reduced ones through resellers or malls which have a Longchamp corners (these may will have the possibility to sell some at reduced prices.) hope i am now more clear 😉😘

I think she meant that the Le Pliage Original and the Green Line won't go on Sale. In other words you have to pay full price and won't get reductions or "special prices". Hope that helped.
There have been so many past-season Le Pliage bags in the discount stores in the US, I guess Longchamp feels that’s better for their image than having them in their store on clearance sale. In the US they seem very determined to be seen as a luxury brand. The Longchamp boutique in my city is next to a Gucci, I guess they’re trying to creep up to Gucci price range. 😂

I'm not a fan of the le pliage collection so it's not a problem for me. However, the price keeps rising and rising for Longchamp in general, and I had a feel that some colours should have been on sale but surprisingly they weren't! Also, I just placed an order online because of the sale but then realised the return is no longer free (you need to cover the postage yourself), but the website said "free return"🤔.
Yes they tend to reduce as much as possible the number of items they place on sale! Wow this is super interesting what you are mentionning about the free return! I will check on the french website when we will have the sales here (end of June) 😘

In Green lines we already have Pink and Sky blue, the next color is Wheat (a light yellow) and for the Original it will be cobalt (strong blue) , Lichen (nice warm green) and Grenadine (nice warm pink). Please have a look at this video from my friend Seton @longchamped: th-cam.com/video/BSsv6AOssDM/w-d-xo.html She already had the possibility to see them , she bought the Lichen one (she made a video also on her channel) and she made a video to show the new colors. 😉 Concerning the release , Seton is based in the US and already saw them, here in Europe i think it would come during this summer, just before the sale period or just after it. 😘😘

Hello, do you know if they are also stopping twice a year's sales that they have online? On the Longchamp website? I have never been into a boutique. I think in Saks fifth avenue they might have a space but not a standalone store... Also, I had a question about the green line versus the original line does the waterproof lining on the inside seem to be the same? No one understands.. but you would! 😊 I'm so glad that you have showcased this brand instead of the usual luxury designers like Chanel and Louis Vuitton, Dior, etc. I feel like a longchamp is so much more attainable for most.
