I am a longtime Longchamp Le Pliage user and I picked up a tip a few years back you might find helpful. You can eliminate the corner wear problem if you get your local Cobbler to sew a piece of leather over each corner. I use Vegetable Tanned leather that matches the leather on the tote. I buy remnants of leather use a 2" punch to punch out the leather, then my cobbler does the rest.
Love this cognac color so much! I have the small top handle (that I also converted DIY with a cross body strap) & it's become my favorite everyday bag :)

i like my longchamp slouchy too but i need just a bit of structure so i just buy a bag base for it!
