@ I tried. It did not go very well. I think it might have been the cigar. It was too peppery for my taste. My tongue burned a bit. I will try again but with some other cigar!
Good afternoon my dear, a cigar to welcome the snow! I do have some amazing cigars that I have kindly been given but I’m yet to smoke any of them as cigars are so expensive over here in the U.K. so I’m waiting for some special occasion to enjoy them. I do enjoy the Tuscano’s Rosso though as they are such an enjoyable and very tasty cigar indeed but I sip them as we can’t get them in the U.K. Keep warm over there and I’ll see you later. Enjoy your day.
Wonderful snow(ing) - sollte HEUTE auch zu uns kommen 😊🇦🇹 ins Börgi/CastleCountry 😅 I like italiano cigars a lot, this one i didn't know 😮😢😅 in the next holidays there, i must look for it or look exactly and buy some ..... BUT i didn't brake it into 2 - i smoke and like it full 😊 i am big and strong 😂 (i hope for it - hoffe ich zumindest) 🎉 Tomorrow ❤

There is a De Nobili cigar company in the US that has an Avanti style cigar that is soaked in anisette. A very nice smoke. It is best after a meal with Grappa and coffee. A great video...again.
AMAZING VIDEO! I didn't know the story of Avanti or that they were bought up by MST. I've seen the Denobili cigars, but haven't tried them yet - will now though! And YES - I agree 100% with your thoughts on classic toscano cigars and the culture and history behind them - something simple and wonderful that everyone smoked. After watching your video this morning, I went out into the snow too to smoke a Classic ammezzato. Thank you for the video! Hope you maybe get in another cigar as well, if you have one in mind.
“La mia è un'infelice generazione, a cavallo tra due mondi e a disagio in tutti e due. E per di più, io sono completamente senza illusioni. ” Burt Lacanster+toscano: Il Gattopardo. Your style is one of the things that excites me about my generation.
At last the cigars are here! Much like the toscana made to break in half… they are a good size cigar for me. I smoke similar size for before and or after work. Thank you
I often smoke the Avanti cigar crumbled in the pipe, both pure and mixed with other tobaccos. My favorite blend is: five cigars and 50g of Amphora Virginia tobacco. Here in Italy we call this blend "ToscoVirginia".
🥶🥶🥶❄️❄️☃️⛄️❄️❄️☃️⛄️ Nice snow Broom! Never tried that cigar but no doubt it hit the spot in the cold there. My self i have a jar of SGawith Winter time flake for the miracle day it snows in my small town. But until that full snow fall takes over a lil cigar never harmed a pipe! Lol ✌️😋 Cheers! 🍻🍺🍻🍺
grazie, questo sigaro se lo provi alla fine ti piacerà visto che è molto leggero...togli il casco lo metti sul serbatoio e ti accendi mezzo gustando il panorama...ma cosa c'è di più bello ❤
That's an interesting back story to the seal 🦭😂 Hopefully in the new year I will be able to explore more Kentucky cigars. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this one. Hope you have a good week
dear Stoney, with you I can be a little more precise and broach a topic that I couldn't bring up on the channel because I don't have certain sources of course, I only have the chatter of smokers. In Italy it is said that Avanti was introduced to counteract a competing product. So the price is really low (5 Euro - 5 cigars). For this price Avanti is fine, it is presented well, it smells good and it is light. I could imagine that you could smoke even several times a day because the nicotine is not too much, or you could also smoke while doing something (gardening, fishing, painting outdoors, etc.) because it is not demanding. However, the taste is also not demanding. I want to say that if you have tried STRAVECCHIO, ANTICO or CLASSICO they are certainly better and more satisfying. Among other things, I saw that in the USA you really have many types of Tuscan, I was amazed, there is also MODIGLIANI... maybe I'll do it on the channel.. what do you think? Returning to the "AVANTI", I believe that if you are looking for a dynamic cigar, not very heavy, perhaps to smoke it together with an important wine, so that the cigar does not damage you with too much nicotine, I think it could be perfect. Since it is a national product in the USA, I would try it immediately! I think you like it, if not you can give it a second chance by crumbling it in the pipe...so you could tell me what those produced in the USA are like.😉💕
@@briarbroom2668I don't live in the USA (yeah 😂) I live in England (double yeah 🍻😂). Thanks for your information, next time I order from the USA I'll get a packet of the Avanti and Antico Nostrano Del Brenta to try. Toscano are my favourite cigar, perfection simply cannot be beaten 😊✌️ P.S. yes do the Modigliani if you can 👍
@@stonehengeminstrel Sorry Dear Stoney for the misunderstanding....that should not happen... @@briarbroom2668 Toscano's are no longer sold in the UK and I noticed a UK tobacconist suggest them as an alternative 🤔🤷♂️🤦😂 so thanks for the heads up, I won't bother with them now 😊. Toscano's were always less expensive to buy in Germany anyhow so that's never been a problem them no.longer being sold in the UK, they were almost 5 times less expensive to buy in Germany 😬🤬😂✌️
I don't recommend these cutters for Italian cigars. I almost always break the wrapper leaf of at least one half sometimes even both which renders them unsmokable. I only use a very sharp knife nowadays. The trick with the moisture is clever - haven't thought about that and will most definitely try it out. Thanks!
