It is an okay router, little under powered (don't believe that 2.25 HP claim) , has trouble spinning a 3.5 inch panel bit and the electronic feed back could use a redesign but it is inexpensive and as such disposable so be sure to look for it on sale.
Horsepower claims are never a good way to determine how large of a bit can be used. But 3.5" is on the outside edge of what I would think about using in anything less than a 3hp table router. That is moving into shaper territory.
@@biggusbestus551 I don't have one, but my research leads me to think Milwaukee 5625 is a good pick. It comes in a fixed base, but a router that size is best used in a table. In fact, I'd start considering a shaper at that point.
Lose it....the power switch will fail once dust gets in it. I'm a production trim carpenter and had to return 6 of these due to bad power switch in the past 14 months. Went with the Dewalt .... no issues.
My apologies for the poor audio quality.
The spring clip that holds the micro adjustment screw is cheap crap and fails often when mounted in a table.
Nice! I bet you keep it!
Chances are good!
@@MRMcCormick .... only in the right direction.
Are those wooden knobs on the regular base?
How is it that such a expensive router has no dust extraction?
Yes, that base has wooden knobs. They are quite comfortable.

@@MRMcCormick what would be your pick for a 3 - 3.5 hp router ? Oh, and there is a dust collection attachment for your router ...

@@MRMcCormick thanks
You can throw that case my way if you’re still finding it useless. Thanks!
Sorry, you are a few months too late!

@@MRMcCormick looks like he took your video and another guys audio and put them together
@@hydmonger2816 Wow, not even his own voice-over? That's just lazy! At least whoever he lifted has better audio than me! :)
@@MRMcCormick Yeah it blew me away when I figured it out lmao pure laziness
The micro adjust is a piece of trash.
Several have commented the same, but I have not experienced any problems.
