That vocal at 0:42 is taken straight out of a 90's sample CD with a bunch of African Vocals commonly used as stock sound effects. The Mystic Ruins theme from Sonic Adventure used the exact same sample!
@@StopDropDash It's from Spectrasonic's Heart of Africa Vol. 1, the sample called 'BERBER CRY 1'. The whole suite of Spectrasonics sample CDs have been used in so, SO many films, TV shows and games from the mid 90's to today.
This level is amazing and love the music. The best part too is you can swim out of bounds and go to the secret area early that requires 70 light Gems and you can go to Hunter's area as Spyro although you can't kill any enemies but you can collect the dragon egg and light gem while swimming in the air it's a really fun glitch I recommend those who play the game again try it out for yourselves and you will be amazed.
I actually managed to find this glitch by myself when I was like 5! Imagine being a child and finding a glitch that lets you just explore the map completely unabated! It was the greatest experience as a kid! :D
this reminded me of Enigma's Sadness i remember i used to love this area and would come back any time to run and glide this gorgeous enviroment amd its music
Funny thing, this song reminds me quite strongly of Rayman 2 (I suspect quite a lot of the audio samples and the African-infused rock music is what gives me that vibe).
Best level in the game
Agree
that and I really like the design of the snowy village. Well, the soundtrack is what really does it for me
And the best soundtrack ever! Good Melody relaxing
Fax
One of the best

The percussion in this tune is from a sample cd called "Percussion Slam".

This is a great tropical music, especially when you want to explore in the coastal cities of California.

You'd be more accurate to play the Dead Island or Dying Light soundtrack if you're talking about modern California...

I also immediately felt it sounded like Sadeness when it hit 0:20.
Best song in the game. 💜

I think that game also used the same drum sample library.
(Percussion Slam is the sample library).
Some parts in this ost are similar to the ones in Enigma-sadeness specially the flute
What the funk my dragonfly
