Rhonda, we also recycle oil buckets for food storage and have been for years. We just clean them good with a good degreaser then air them for several days before using them, and have never had any problems with any we have opened! Great video as always, just keep keeping on, and forget about the negative Nancy's!

Rhonda, I think your idea of storage is just fine for you and the family. I am a former food inspector for the Military, so I have some experience with food storage. You might not be able to sell any food stored in mylar and non food grade buckets, but for the family you are OK. I enjoy your TH-cam videos, keep up the good work. PS, your hair looks nice. And third, the fireplace is beautiful with logs inside the chimney.💙💙💙💙💙💙. So...yeah. You are an amazing farmer, a cooker and a mother to do great things around the farm. Rhonda, Your hair always looks beautiful. It’s always a learning experience watching your videos. I get a bunch of 5 gallon buckets from the Deere dealer I work at. I can’t stand seeing them thrown away. I try to salvage the lids also. I spray them with a degreaser and use a hot water pressure washer to clean them. If you can’t find a market for all your lids you could always advertise them as large frisbees Lol. Have a good weekend 🙂
