After having seen Shinobu in Juna Serita's wonderful "Kunoichi" I just had see more of her. This is such an entertaining song, to me it sounds like a mix of j-pop and brazilian samba.

Since I discovered Shino Kawashima and her music just the other day I have become mesmerized by the sound of her instrument, the Tsugaru Syamisen. A sound that is so typical Japanese but thanks to Shino Kawashima and her brilliant ability to place it in a context that makes it so easy for a European/Westerner like me to digest that it quickly have become an acquired taste of mine. It would be great if the album was avaliable at Google Play Music. So far I only found it on Spotify but I prefer to use Google Play Music for streaming since there you can also buy the albums and songs that you really want to own, and this is definitely music I would love to buy and have in my collection.
Yes I have to agree Shinobu in "Kunoichi" is amazing but also misleading because she doesn't jump, kick, or smile even once there which is so untypical of her while in this video she looks like a Music teacher who wants to lead Japan into a parade of love and even though I cannot understand a word it sounds so fantastic making me want to join in on the fun as well!
