Chase Daniel is one of the toughest QB I've seen. He stayed in the pocket and took some of the nastiest hits while still completing passes. Much respect to you man!
Penix has a space laser for a left Arm. My brotha Chase Daniels KNOWS arm talent. Penix will have the most success out of ALL the rookies over time mark my words.
Can't even really say he "missed" that first throw, it was pretty much spot on. Matter of fact, I almost think the receiver just didn't expect to have a ball coming his way after seeing Mike take that hit PLUS the defender really put a lot of effort into breaking up that pass as well... Neither of those are really on Mike. We love him down here in ATL and can't wait to see more! This is the most promising a young QB has looked down south since Matt Ryan all the way back then!
the last throw is the one I was most excited about after the game. Showed the knowledge he has about ball placement is far higher then the standard rookie
7:40 I've watched WRs in HS run routes better than Kyle Pitts. I'm a Pitts fan but Jesus Christ help the rookie by declaring with body language. If it's a skinny post stick your left foot in the ground and whip your head around and give him that 8 as a target point to shield you from the Safety. If it's a dig you have to drive down the 40 yd line like you did in the combine and sit in the window. You know the kid hasn't got reps and if you want the ball this is the perfect time to get it but he literally running from one defender right into the next one.
pitts flat out doesnt seem to want to be there, no effort on so many routes and has zero physicality. the smallest corners can easily effect his routes with a bit of contact
Throw was on the money, the DB had to PI or give up points... Watched this dude light up defenses for two years solid. Rarely an off day. You will love him.
Real Talk... It's good to hear a former NFL QB breakdown plays. According, to your comments, it sounds like we have a bright future with our young QB in the ATL.
Great breakdown CD. Looking forward to seeing this guy cook next year with a full camp as the number 1. Wishing Kirko Chainz the best as well. Maybe he’ll get picked up as a bridge qb somewhere.
This is great breakdown of the X's and O's. The when, where and why is concise and easy to understand. The Falcons being my team, I really appreciate the info and hope to see more of Penix's film breakdown in the future.
Was always a huge fan of yours. Coming from someone who couldn't care less about Missouri (Go DAWGS) I thought you were always one hell of a QB and threw a beautiful ball. Best of luck with your channel Chase
Hi Chase! HAPPY HOLIDAYS AND A BLESSED NEW YEAR 2025!!! Falcons vs Giants. On the pass play to Kyle Pitts in the Red Zone, he never had control of the football as he was being tackled. Pitts didn't tip the football. Putting it in slow motion, you can see that the football bounced off of him.
Awesome breakdown bro. You would’ve made a great NFL QB😎 I don’t usually praise Saints players given our rivalry history but this is a good video Mr. Daniels
What I don't get is how the Giants stood pat with Daniel Jones and decided Nabers was the pick and all these young QB's are playing pretty well for rookies.
Chase, got a question on situations. Are we still giving Penix a plus in the decision making column for throwing the slot fade on play 8 when it’s 3rd down and short for example? Can situation dictate the read for a QB Another example is the INT to Pitts. 3rd down, no timeouts, end of half situation with 16 seconds left. Theoretically a spike is possible but isn’t that risky? Should he just be taking a shot to the endzone or throwing it away in that scenario? Ensure the field goal if you do that or TD?
Good point. I will say, though, that his maturity showed in that in his post game press conference, he specifically mentioned the throat to pits as the correct read but not for the situation. So he's growing and learning even from that "mistake."
Respect to Chase and His breakdown of Penix, but against a giants team that already had vacations booked is gonna be a whole other animal against the Commanders. They're in a high leverage situation and pretty much a must win. I agree with your arm strength assessment, throws, timing, etc. but I think he is going to be in trouble this week.
Commanders got their hands full with Atlantas rushing attack. Penix absolutely needs a great performance from his two backs. I am worried about the Falcons defense keeping Jayden contained.
Love the breakdown only legends like Jon Elway , Tom Brady - now Penix Jr, guys said threw it where only they can touch it and defender can’t hurt him , Penix Jr. lead D London cause it open field but to no.19 throws behind him so he stops and avoids the big hit, QB should be receivers eyes , and saved him, that’s a real QB - Always though threw the film he’s better than almost every qb in draft , Atlanta knew it and hid it, so no one got game film , everyone knows in practice who got the buzz in every position. No doubt it was Penix Jr
7:43 im gonna disagree, when he goes to load up 24 is watching penix's eyes still. when he would need to throw the ball is still in a place where 24 is going to be closer to the spot than london is and a decent safety can make a play on the ball from that spot. he was just indecisive once he rolled out and just didnt want to commit to anything. mooney once he rolls out has a good window to throw to. needed to just commit to taking off and going to the middle of the field. could have had 6 or more with a simple cut in towards the left hash before 11 can leave and get to him
Quiet as kept…being a Falcons and watching this video shows me that Chase Daniel is another victim of a QB that got all the Xs and Os down pack but lacked a solid coach/support system.
All you have to look at is the technique, arm strength, accuracy, and confidence. That's why everyone is so high on him right now. Not because we beat the giants. But because he is pro ready and has all the intangibles.
As a falcons fan. Its refreshing to see receivers catching the ball in stride. Penix is that guy
London has been running wrong routes on more than 1 occasion.

Thanks bro
That wasnt Chase Daniel. That was Drew Lock
@@burtknighten4438definitely was chase drew DNT have enough years under his belt or starts

Yes exactly

Yeah Pitts is a bust dude. He was picked 4th ahead of Micah Parsons. My Falcons have me scratching my head all the time
Pitts is genuinely a bottom 5 TE in NFL
PENIX is the truth
Gonna be good
That was a perfect 60yd strike to Mooney tho lol…the DB made a business decision and committed PI
Haha for sure

Yeah, he's definitely got the talent!
Next year. The kitchen is still open.
Mike Penix is a football genius.
Great analysis. I learned a lot. Thanks.

Love this breakdown! Thank you for the analysis!! I'm getting so hyped for this Commanders Falcons game! GO FALCONS!
Thanks for watching!
Enjoyed the thorough breakdown.
Glad it was helpful! Thank you!
At 8:16 I think he was trying to get it to Pitts but he didn’t flatten his route.

Crazy
I think part of it was they know they could build around him regardless of QB.
@@HH-le1vi I dunno, is that how teams are really constructed? Get a great WR and build around them?
@caseysager655 you're better off building everything but the QB than get a QB.
@@HH-le1vi Maybe in 1980 and even then I would question it. Finding a great WR is a lot easier than finding a great QB.

At 7:40 it's clear he felt #5 behind which he felt they would've knocked it out that's why he pulled out of the throw, he would've been a sitting duck
penix was throwing dots all game, unlike cousins who turned into jay cutler after week 10
I’m not in love with the Pistol formation as the primary focus. What’s your thoughts?
I agree

lol 14 years ain’t bad
I was disappointed to see that he was named the starter before my commanders play them. He could be dangerous in that offense!
I totally agree
People keep saying they played the Giants. Giants passing defense played good this year. The rushing defense played horrible.
Yup
London has no separation
21 knocked the ball out of Pitts grip
Wild
Idk what you doing in life but I think you should call Desean Jackson
My grandmother could beat the giants
No, no she couldn’t
Good luck to GMA. They still have the 22nd ranked defense, 7th against the pass. GMA gonna need back, knee, and hip surgery afterwards.
Pitts is a bust
He played the worst team in the league, he hasn't shown me a damn thing!!!
He played against an NFL team. The difference between the Chiefs and Panthers is about an inch.
All you have to look at is the technique, arm strength, accuracy, and confidence. That's why everyone is so high on him right now. Not because we beat the giants. But because he is pro ready and has all the intangibles.
You'll see!!!! We gona beat the commander convincly
He played the game that was scheduled. You sound like my girlfriend always talking out the side of her neck
😂
Penix is going to be overwhelmed on Sunday night. some players just play better when the country is watching. Jayden is that person.
Why do you think that? Penix wasn't overwhelmed at all in that game.
shut up ronald
We shall see!
LOL
We know JD5 will bring it but will have to wait and see for Penix
