So instead of throwing out the disk cases, they changed the inlay and stamped that on them. It was actually there to reuse the plastic cases that would have been thrown away otherwise. Back then my family didn't have much cash around (since I had 5 more siblings around), so when my parents buy a NES, we actually using it until it's unusable anymore. There's times when controller's wire had to be bend in in certain way to make it work, consoles had to be placed upside down to make it running, and game tapes that needs to be inserted in unbalanced way to make it playable.
