A father wanting the best for his son and wanting to give him the best chance at success is not only natural, it is commendable. BUT, I absolutely believe that LeBron James has inadvertently made a HUGE mistake and has already tarnished Bronny’s reputation.
It’s a shame because this isn’t Bronny’s fault, and from all reports he’s a really great guy. But he was always going to face nepotism complaints (and they are warranted IMO), and LeBron has made the problem 100 times worse. Whether it’s true or not, Bronny’s potential NBA career will always be looked at as nothing but a nepotism hire by the league to please his politically-powerful father
That’s just life bro. Happens in any work place. It’s always been about who you know more than what you know until AI filters people out objectively
@@mzz42044Just because something is a common practice doesn’t mean we can’t criticize it. For example, racism is still disturbingly common in the world, but that doesn’t mean we should just roll over and accept it
It’s Eric Bledsoe perk 😂😂
Or jrue holiday
thought I was deaf in my right ear for a second.
Nah Stephen A’s people gotta call him out on that outfit
A more deserving person (whoever that is) somebody more talented, more accomplished and likely coming from a background of poverty, who could make life changing money has to lose out to some privileged billionaire son who's 'daddy' is in the background pulling the strings. That's how this looks!
LeFraud fanboys always loved cheating and making excuses. That's why they even overlook all of LeFraud's flops over the years. If you speak the truth, you are just a "hater" according to them.
“Nba countdown “ 😂 “drew bledsoe” yeah perk was on one 😂😂😂
He is average at best and if he gets in because of his dad , these other players will have no mercy on him and he could possibly get injured because of jealousy from the players that had to earn the right to be in the NBA
Would love to hear more about what Bronny James is doing. Glad to see it all coming out.
Yes!
Man this is crazy so you mean to tell me now days you can get in possibly because your dad is the number 1 star in the nba?.. when we all know there’s way better people that can’t even get drafted smh……….
he is just a golden ticket to lebron. no one is looking at him to he the face of a franchise.
You just never know he has time to develop and get better
@@benadek6703 Yep, just take a spot away from someone who might actually be more deserving, even may coming from a place of poverty.
You LeFraud fanboys are truly disgusting. You justify nepotism and even cheating. That's why you even overlook all those flops from LeFraud and horrible calls from the refs that is in favor of LeFraud all those years.
Bronny isn't a NBA player. The media is talking about Bronny only because of his dad.
Let Bronny make his own path to the NBA.
If you haven’t seen a Ronny play then don’t talk about him
He is great at his level and boy resurrected from death and he is immortal
At least Perkins finally admitted the obvious that Bronny should have never been a McDonald's All American. Maybe two years from now when he's out of the league, Perkins and the rest of the LeBron sycophants in the media will come around and state the obvious that he shouldn't have been in the league.
Did perk say Drew Bledsoe 😂
Perk definitely don't be listening NBA Countdown? Drew Bledsoe?
Damn it be yo own people 🤣
Without LeBron, we wouldn’t care who Bronny James is. He ain’t that good 🤷♀️
We all know Stephen a saw Bronny play, maybe he means in person
He balled out today
Certified bum
He just gotta play with confidence everything else should fall in place he’s fast and explosive but I think he should go to a organization well he can get developed
@@BrianBlaze. right he’s not a starter or anything yet, but once he develops he will have a long career..
the kid is gonna get killed out there. hes 6 foot 1, averaged 4 points comin off the bench at a below mid school and conference. they just keep shoving this crap down our throats thou. and they wont stop. i played with a ton of kids like bronny growing up....good athleticism...nowhere near NBA level
@@paulthomas9911stop looking at stats and watch how he plays he doesn’t take a lot of shots he plays defense and he can pass all you talking about is points you don’t know basketball
BRONNY IS A 7TH ROUND PICK.
People want to see him fall so badly. He’s young and has time to get better. I don’t get the hate
Not fair. What you are saying was going to happen to Bronny anyway. Lebron was blindsided with the question on barbershop. Referring to playing with his son. If you were in the NBA and had a son you would be excited as lebron was about playing with your own son in the NBA. Broony's career was chosen (basketball) before the question was presented to Lebron. Your position is somewhat reasonable however the spotlight was coming to Bronny once he got to the NBA. He would face a different question along the same lines. "Bronny are you going to be great as your dad.?" I fully concur with the medical aspects of your position. Bronny should tell the crowd "I might not get the numbers my dad has, but offensively I will be more dynamic, spectacular, and extremely entertaining". Showtime.
It's natural and commendable for a parent, especially one with the means and influence like LeBron James, to support their children in their endeavors. In sports, parental support can be crucial to a young athlete's development and confidence. LeBron being present at his son Bronny's games and providing him with guidance is an example of healthy parental involvement in a child's career.
If Stephen A. Smith had been as successful in basketball as LeBron James, and had a son who was talented in the sport, he might have acted similarly by supporting his son publicly and privately. Criticizing LeBron for his support might be inconsistent if one would do the same under similar circumstances.
The observation here is that criticism towards Bronny seems to be coming primarily from Stephen A. Smith and Kendrick Perkins. This could imply that their critique is more of an outlier rather than a general consensus, suggesting that their opinions might not fully represent the broader sports community's views on LeBron's support of his son.
Extra effort by parents, such as opening doors or providing unique opportunities, is a normal part of parenting, and not something to be criticized when it comes to aiding their child’s growth and success.
This is a straightforward call for critics to stop negative commentary about LeBron's involvement with Bronny's sports career.
Frick and Frack here trying to justify their obsession with LeBron and in turn Bronny. The man said he would like to be on the court with his son and the media couldn't let go of his comment. When asked if he wanted to play with his dad, Bronny said his goal was to enter the league. So, who has a problem with what LeBron said... Frick & Frack aka SAS & Perk.
MJ did the best job with both of his sons. Get out the damn way and if you really want it, put the work in and go get it!!
Get ready guys for bronny getting a segment on every espn show everyday just cause his dads lebron lmao so sad
When you all wouldn't stop tell lies about bronny how good he could be you all ain't no that. Bronny ain't got no call in nba combined
No one wants to see Kendrick Perkins lol
Why Steven A pants soo big
Steph curry and lebron is from ohio. They already got rings and they old now. It would be mind blowing if Cleveland kept the team as is. lebron and curry took a pay cut and went to go get Seth curry & forced them to draft bronny so they could retire in there hometown. Mind you bronny, levert curry and lebron is from Ohio so I think if they thought about it they all would get ring in if they came together😰 that would be an unbeatable team🥇That pace would be too fast for anybody to compete with Cleveland in the nba. Hella depth and advanced players. Everybody pray that never happens lol
Nobody can help but talk about bronny, like did anybody notice that bronny's being talked about as if he's the Number one prospect? they ain't even talking about the number one prospect, SO every person hating on bronny y'all will seat in front of yall phones tv laptops hearing about bronny and IT ain't shit y'all gon do about it, if you hate him close them electronics OR keep listening like a student getting lectured. ITS ALL ABOUT BRONNY AND THAT'S HOW IT'S GON BE
Loving father yea yea yea tell the truth how u feel stop being scared of lebron
He's on mute
Did this man say Drew Bledsoe
There are 100s of draft pics every year that are worse than bronny bro….i mean why are we hating so much? We should be happy we are seeing Lebron’s son come into the NBA…we are fans of the game…
False
These GMs not gonna draft Bronny and just because of LeBron because if Bronny ever felt like they used him Bron wouldn’t be happy anyway.
I can't ear anything
Bronny is a low tier player, no true talent. But lebron gotta shelter and nest his son so he stays in the NBA for 5 years, and hopefully has the skillset by then to be his own man. if it wasn't for lebron, bronny would be in D league, or not even in line at all.
Bronny sucks. Period.
Tell the truth let them say we hating
Bronny the best player in the draft
@FatboyReg the worse player in the draft you mean.
@@rasliburd2179he can play
@@rasliburd2179 No he sucks. He sucked in college so he'll double suck in the NBA.
