Everytime I watch this remake battle, one thing ALWAYS bugs me: the fact that they restarted the music when the battle actually begins. The original had the music flow directly into battle, which makes it very well-choreographed.

Etrian Odyssey, as awesome as it is, is a pretty niche series, not many people watch the videos of it. There are very few high quality videos of Etrian Odyssey on YT, so I'm trying to fix that since I have the means to do that.:) I have a few more videos to upload soon. Right now I'm about to fight Blizzard King after which there will be only one boss left - Yggdrasil Core.
I definitely agree with you there. As of now, I'm more excited for EOV than any other game this year, and I'm also hoping for an Untold 3. With the recent New 2DS, I don't think that 3DS games will stop appearing any time soon, but if they do, I really hope that EO will find some way to live on. It's my favourite game series, and I would be really disappointed if Mystery Dungeon 2 was the last game. Here's hoping.
Same here. Can't say EO is my most favorite game series but it's definitely one of the most favorite ones. Probably right behind Sonic the Hedgehog and Pokemon. I also love Shin Megami Tensei quite a bit.
Untold looks so fucking cool man. Working my way up the games currently and then i'll go back and replay Untold versions. But this is so promising man. This fight was so fucking epic for me on the first game, it's so fucking scary too. You call them weird but I genuinely feared them because I didn't see it coming and I was like "No fucking way" - two of the most badass warriors you can get, with badass introductions and killing texts, stand against us. Compared to the other adventurer duo you fight in Etrian Odyssey 2 for example it doesn't come close to this fight for me.
Despite appearances, the walkway is supposed to be big enough for a team of five people to cross, which makes it a fairly large bridge. That said, does it make me a ridiculous nerd that I once played Battle on the Big Bridge (Dissidia mix) for this fight? And that I thought it worked? Nothing wrong with the original fight music, I was just trying something different.
I didn't expect i have to fight against they. What a relieve they didn't die. btw, it was a hard battle. but imo Guild Esbat battle was worst, they rape me in mi first attempt.
Boost the boost, so you can boost while you boost. Memes aside, my guess is that they misread something online and didn't know you were suppost to boost the move AFTER Action boost. Or they just memeing, either or works.

I really hope Etrian Odyssey continues on the Switch, or finds some form of spiritual successor....
