    I just picked up my 2022 XT6 Premium Luxury last week and I couldn't be happier with it! Terrific looking and functional, great space and comfort, reasonably priced for it's segment, great tech and safety features, plenty of power and a smooth ride! It's my first domestic US car brand purchase in 20 years.

    The number of comments comparing the Caddy to the Telluride is worth noting. And it's the reason that it's so difficult to actually purchase a top trim SX version of the Telluride. Experienced KIA dealers are accustomed to "budget" shoppers looking for the cheapest trim level they can find for a particular vehicle. What dealers have discovered is that the introduction of the Telluride brought customers into their showrooms the dealers have seldom if ever seen before -- folks cross shopping a KIA vehicle against a Cadillac and other luxury and near luxury brands.

      Agree, they have to do some major improvements as this debuted after the Lincoln Aviator. With an XT5 interior, less interior color choices than the XT5, and no quilted seats. The drivetrain, forget about it. A 3.6 liter engine shared with about a dozen other GM makes Chevy, Buick and GMC. Cadillac, put a 3.6 liter Twin Turbo in the AWD XT6. That'll give it 420 HP and 430 FT LBS of Torque.
      Cadillac it's been 19 months since this review and you've done nothing to bring the XT6 up to the competition and value of the rest of the lineup. Get it done or drop the XT6!

      mctaboo no it’s all around. The issue is they have similar quality to Kia, Current Toyota, the new Mazda 3, and some fords have even better quality. And that’s the issue. If you go inside a Cadillac, then go inside a Buick and for thousands less you get almost the same quality and materials. It’s so disappointing, especially when Lincoln is out here blasting them beyond the universe! Have you been in the new Lincoln’s. Compare them. I been in the new Lincoln Navigator and the new Cadillac Escalade both the same price... but the Cadillac had crappy cheap materials in a lot of areas, and not so good comfort, as well as less features and handling. It’s honestly mind bending how they keep asking what is going wrong then you look at every single car in the class and it seems they’re just basic spruced up passenger cars, not true luxury.

But it doesn’t make any logical sense to compare a brand new redesigned Navigator to the previous model Escalade and say “it’s better in every way”. That’s all I’m saying. • @stephenhendricks103
      @stephenhendricks103 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CarCoachReports Can't speak to the Aviator but the new Explorer, though obviously a significant improvement over the last generation, is really, really expensive, at least in terms of MSRP. The bottom line is that $50,000 buys an Explorer with few options and a 2.3L four cylinder turbo engine. Impressive in a base Mustang but seriously underwhelming and with questionable durability in a vehicle that weighs near 2.5 tons when loaded with fuel, passengers, and gear. There's a reason that almost every other manufacturer offers a larger naturally aspirated V6 as either a standard or optional choice in their midsize 3 row SUV's. (The only exceptions are Subaru and Mazda.) The only NA V6 available for the Explorer is in the hybrid edition. And the only other V6 offering is the turbo 3.0L in the ST or the highest "Platinum" trim level, each of which approaches $60,000 when moderately optioned.

The rear hatch button up top is a good idea so kids are less likely to squish themselves. If they see you push a button, they will too. They don't forget those things.

The biggest hurdle will be those brands' capability to bring the XT6 buyer into a Hyundai or Kia showroom to make the comparison for themselves. As I said, "Is the Aviator a better vehicle? Yes, but is it nearly $40G better? That's a tougher question."
