Great video with lots of information to help better your reloading experience! I appreciate the time you’ve taken to create these step by step video they’ve been a game changer
Amazing - I have a Lee single stage press but looking at getting a 550 or 750. But this video explained the setup of dies so well which applies to any press. Very impressed and this means alot for your brand. I have a question: the toolhead that is being used in the square deal B will it fit in the 550 as well, they look very similar?
Great step by step detail. Best tip for me was at 1:50; remove lanolin from the fully loaded case, rather than the way I do it now requiring a separate cleaning after sizing. You state corn cob media and alcohol, I clean with walnut media, is that equally acceptable?
Lmao. “Take a case which is dry-it will stick-use up all your profanity vocabulary” . I just did all those right before watching this! Needed to setup my 550B after 10 years of being in storage and i just didnt want to even touch that dang manual! Thank you sir for this video.
@6:12 "And yes 308 cases do require more pressure pretty than any other cases to size" Someone that has never sizes 6.5x50sr Japanese shot out of a Type 38. Love the videos, very helpful.
New to Dillon. I am getting a Dillon 550c from a friend. Will I be able to reload Weatherby 30-378? From what I’ve read the powder dispenser will not work for this load (107gr). But my question is can I resize and seat on this press. Or will I also need to get a rock chucker? Total rookie here. Thanks in advance for the response.
@@forty5r637 Don't tell me you're parroting a tired old TH-cam cliché, trying to take a dig at someone, because that's all you got. No...wait...you just did!
LUBE! It’s too true… accidentally put in an unlubed case and was it ever stuck. Ultimately had to drill out the primer pocket, then threaded it, and was able to put in a bolt (with an octagonal head), a spacer and a washer and pulled out the case by tightening the bolt. Never again…LOL

He is usually quite thorough but in this instance didnt provide the warning, and so make sure you use the right Dillon lube for bottle-neck cases that he displayed in this video. Under Dillon's case lube products, they specifically warn the following: "Dillon Synthetic Case Lube - This is recommended for lighter duty lubrication, such as handgun cases. Not recommended for bottleneck rifle case resizing"
6 times I've had to take and throw brass casings away following this trying to set up. 2 deprimer pins shot. Yes I used lube. Wondering if I wasted 600 dollars on this damn thing.

What about case length n trimming check if needed???
Do that as a separate step before you lube and reload.
@@brucetucker4847 I Do but one would think that would be in the video!!
What's with the cotter pins running through Dillon dies? That seems like scratched and bleeding fingers to me.
Tell us you know nothing about Dillion dies without actually telling us…..😂

Do it like us, Throw it in your vibrating tumbler loaded, add some alcohol and get er done.....You won't hear many companies give that kind of advise!
Is it just me or does anyone else see the truck tire tread running up the wall behind him?
