@@moonmeditationmusic hi ! the native american practice of having relationships with spirit animals stems from a closed spiritual practice. its been appropriated widely while native americans continue to be systematically subjugated and oppressed, families and land killed and stolen. to title a meditation video “find your spirit animal” while not advocating for their liberation is deeply unbalanced and adds to the problem. there are plenty of great articles outlining this in more detail. i’m not indigenous to amerikkkan land, but i stand in deep solidarity with the people the tended the land before my family arrived here. i believe we have a duty to be good to each other and lift up each other’s voices.

I appteciate your feedback on that. I may extend my thoughts about that too.
Since I was a little child I felt deeply connected to native americans and their life. this seems normal for a little boy playing cowboy etc. but my interest went further. I read a lot books, actually all the books about native americans my libary had. Not only stories, romans but also all books from original shamans and later all books I could get about history of native americans, rituals, specialy the Dakota and Lakota tribes. This interest went on until I grew old. I got my own spiritual mentor and traveled a lot of times with drums with and without thr help of spiritual guidance and plants. I followed spiritual rules and searched and found my spiritual animal. So this is more a homage to the ritual of finding your spirit animal. I hope you understand my intention?
