I used to play left 4 dead during the 2010 and I think they mixed up the campaign in Animal Crossing and do you know the dinner from hard rain or the motel from dark carnival
I love these types of Islands, because they're so different, but at the same time I feel bad for the villagers who thought they were getting paradise, and ended up here 😅
OH! I recently did a trade with the person on this island! I gave them utility poles! It was such an incredible island to visit, and even better to see it in full on this tour! What a coincidence! :D
I saw the carnival from Left 4 Dead II in the thumbnail and clicked SO FAST. My best friend and I clocked 200+ hours in the co-op mode during high school - sleepovers every week when her brother would let us play his xbox lol. This is a fantastic tribute!! Shoutout to my fellow Coach mains. Edit: Just got to the house, and seeing it decorated as a safehouse filled me with HUGE nostalgia. The canons as the gatling guns in the final hoard standoff area was big brain too. Edit 2: All those silos... the level with all the Witches just came flooding back to me. That level was the worst in the BEST way.
Hard rain with the sugar mill is crazy, especially when played on expert mode. Witches spawn more than commons I swear. I've got about 300 hours split on console and on pc. Excited as hell for back 4 blood
this is by far the best island I've ever seen in terms of the creativity, depth, attention to detail, and realism. this is art. they really captured what a world would look/feel like post apocalypse.
Big L4D fan here. Saw multiple great references to some of my favorite maps Dark Carnival, Hard Rain, Mercy Hospital, & so many more. My compliments to the person who built this island.
This person did a phenomenal job! Really brought me back to Left 4 Dead 2. Unless you’ve played the game you wouldn’t get the references of items and specific locations that are from L4D2. The 4 gas cans and the racing car- iconic. The grocery store with the box of sodas. The health packs, the golf clubs, Samurai swords, hazmat zombies, swamp lands, circus, sewer systems, train tracks, etc. I remember all these locations.
I submitted my form for a tour of my island! I have a horror house account and 2 rooms are dedicated to Resident Evil game the others are from The Grudge, The Ring, The Shinning and SAW.
Awesome tour! The creativity of this community is amazing! Like I would never in a million years look at my island and go “yeah…I could turn this into L4D”
Per the Zombie Survival Guide you should refrain from lighting zombies on fire, as then you just have flaming zombies, which will grab you and light you on fire as well.
This island name me hate my island and animal crossing. I realized I will never have the creativity, diligence, patience and dedication to ever create something like this. I mean from beginning to end, this island was immaculate. By far my favorite island in animal crossing, without question, hands down.
I only know L4D2 from Speed runs, but the thing you called a Zombie concert is one of the chapter finals/crescendos in the Carnival chapter, aka you have to fight against a gigantic horde of zombies before you get rescued, same with the Villa build. Not sure if that person did also the rest of the crescendos or not...
OK first of all, WOW! Secondly.............. WOW!!! I'm lost for words. Blown away at the sheer awesomeness of this island! So much creativity! I wouldn't know where to start in order to make something on this level! This island wins Animal Crossing. Hands down!
Would LOVE to see you play some horror survival games! And as for burning zombies being the only way to kill them, I refer to he newscaster in Shaun of the Dead: "[...] By removing the head or destroying the brain." Everybody knows that ;P
I am so happy I found this. Something like this is pretty much what I have in mind for my island. I named mine Melancholy and I am trying to make it look apocalyptic, dark, and moody with only the scary/weird looking villagers. I started my island not too long ago so I am still waiting for that K.K concert but after that I will get to work. I love the spooky theme, not like Halloween, but actually scary since I don't see people do it too often.
Okay but I can not explain the initial shock and fear I felt when hearing Angela from Moondust since that's the name of my island too ahhh I had to take a sec to process
I’m planning a zombie apocalypse island too different than this tho love this island giving me lots of inspiration especially the circus part cuz I planned on doing a circus area too lol
This is incredible. I love it!! 👏🏻 My favourite bit is all the zombies crushed up at the gate, trying to get out 😬 (at the big build area). So well done! 💖
loved how detailed everything was, especially the carnival. and left for dead is deff one of the best zombie games ive ever played esp with friends its just so chaotic lol

I believe the bug in the cup is a mosquito. When I caught one for the first time the other day and I set it outside, a cup and paper appeared like the ants. But I would think you guys would know since I haven’t been playing for that long, so maybe It’s something else?
I don’t think many people realize you can use your actual photos you have in your phone as photos on your islands. Like I have a photo of me ,my kids and my husband in my house 😅
Love watching the walking dead and this island is totally giving off those vibes 😍😍😍 love this it's so well done. Still haven't even settled on a theme for my island yet
