- In this first instalment of our long weekend & Kirsty,s birthday , we visited one of our favourites with certainly the best views , Laburnum Caravan Park in west runton , north norfolk
Eager to get back on the bike for some fish and chips , IT WAS CLOSED! Just imagine the disapointment , ;) ....So further along the coast i peddled , on a very windy day with my old bike ET , could we both make it ?

Now thats what I call dedication on the fish and chip run! Looked good despite the extended journey. We are in Seacroft next weekend 21/4/23 on our first trip so will be having the fish and chips for sure 👍😁. Laburnham looks great. Plan on visiting that one in the near future, if we can get in!? Know the area well as visited Incleborough many times when we had a Caravan. Only about 40 mins from where we live so regularly visiting Sherringham / Cromer. We like a couple of beers in the Robin Hood then onto Daves fish bar for posh sit down 😁🍻. We have only lived in the area 33 years but seen more sites from watching your videos the last few days then we knew existed. Thanks guys.
it’s a good hour or more for us to reach sheringham and cromer we love it up there , yes it was a bit of a long ride on an old bike (since replaced 😀) that day i’ll never forget it ! , funny you should mention the incleboro site i think it’s the only one we’ve never stayed at , can’t beat a good bit of coastal fish n chips in the van 👍😁 thanks again for watching the videos

Happy birthday Kirsty, and the chip shop feature is back, they didn't skimp on the portions either, on the plus side you burnt a few of the calories off riding the bike🤣, you make Norfolk look very appealing so now on the hit list, keep them coming 👍.

Just catching up after our week in Norfolk I’ve just bit the bullet and ordered an electric bike at the Norfolk show, good to see the bike back in action. We’re not over fussed on dead level, we use the sliding door as a rough guide if it shuts its tipping forward if it slides open its tipping back… we parked in that car park in Cromer but we had chips from Mary Janes they were awesome. Well done for not letting Kirsty down on her birthday 👍
thats great news about the bike ! 👍 must admit been contemplating about it myself, especially when seeing them at the shows , a good move i think one you wont regret when going up the next hill

Great vlog, v good music and photography. We are in our van near Sherringham at the moment. Love North Norfolk. Got sun burnt yesterday !! Deserve a medal for the fish and chip run !😝
its so nice when the sun shines in this country , we burnt too when we were there 😂 definitely loved walking around sheringham especially the bakers for lovely bread and cakes , yeah i wont forget that chippy run for a while ! 😂👍

Hope you had a lovely birthday Kirsty. We headed down to Norfolk on Friday from Scotland hoping to get into Pinewoods. Ended up in Pinecones campsite. Was hoping to bump into you's to say hi.

We were up and down that coast in our tow car surprised I didn’t see you
well i don’t hang about on a chippy run ! 😂 , especially when i’m hungry 😋, i leave ferrari’s standing, a lovely part of the country on that coast 👍😀

Nice video. Love Sheringham/Cromer but our visits were before we bought our first Motorhome 10 years ago.
Have you thought about using an App to check the level? We use the free Clinometer one - it’s very good.
hi ann yes i keep forgetting to use the phone to level with , i can’t keep up with all this technology! sheringham is our favourite as well as wells we like the old train station at sheringham

Hi Mike & Kitsty, it was so good to meet you both at Pinewoods, especially as we went there on your recommendation. What a lovely site it was and a wonderful location, well worth the 5.5 hour drive from Southampton. Will definitely be coming back to Norfolk again. That was some fish & chip run, glad they were still nice & hot. At least Frenchie's now come on site at Pinewoods - another of your recommendations we had to try! Happy belated birthday Kirsty. We was in Cromer this Weekend, us and the dog went swimming in the Sea, it was lovely and warm! just like being in Spain! 🏖🤩🍦🏊🏊♀️🐕

We were in Cromer last week and had fish and chips from same shop although we were a little disappointed. Very impressed with you cycling up that hill 👍

Thoroughly enjoyable vlog. Go on the North Norfolk coast most years at some point 5 weeks to our trip this year. That was a bit of a trek for the fish n chips though 😄
it really is special there we love it , yes a long ride to the chippy in heavy winds and on a bike thats well passed its sell by date 😂 but we managed it and was well worth it 😀

Great video and some fantastic photography. I thought you wouldn’t have the energy to eat your fish and chips after that bike ride! You did a great job cycling to and from Cromer for Kirsty’s birthday dinner 😁. We’re in North Yorkshire tonight and the home tomorrow after a fantastic two weeks in Norfolk and Suffolk. We stayed in West Runton and walked to and from Cromer with the dogs. We went into, I think it was the Red Lion, in Cromer for beer and fish and chips, we did see No1 but it was so hot we needed beer! We walked along the beach back to West Runton. We also went to Hunstanton and Wells-next-the Sea, the beaches were amazing and next time I’m bringing my cossy 😁. We also went to Southwold which we loved and we had more beer and fish and chips! The entire holiday has been amazing and we thought of you and Kirsty enjoying your trip also. Thanks for sharing a fantastic video. We’re definitely coming back soon . 😊

@@TheFrenchiesMotorhomechannel I just told Ivan we need to go back so we can visit Sherringham. Your comment about the scones took me back to a comment a good friend of mine made about 30 years ago. I don’t know why but whenever I think of it I always laugh! We stayed with her in Coventry and she said, you must visit our local Indian he’s got the biggest naans you’ve ever seen! It just cracked me up for some reason.

Can you see out of the back through the rear view mirror,also is your battery monitor accurate as I am hoping to get the same one.cheers
i don’t have a rear view mirror just a camera that only works when i engage reverse , unfortunately not a permanent feed camera which i’d prefer , yes the votronic monitor is good , german made and reliable , no problems with it at all
