For honor is literally the greatest fighting game ever created and nothing compares to it not even close I love it and always will but it needs ranked 4’s
something i noticed while watching this: (aside from a brief clip that wasnt really about that) all-block babysitting doesnt appear in this video. which suggests that the ability to autoparry any normal attack that touches you by holding a single button for as long as you feel like it, that can largely only be countered w a move that is suicide to throw when that person has a teammate around, completely negates the ability of everyone else around to shine the fact that the third clip in this compilation is two jorgs throwing their ults at the same time is great bc it really demonstrates that the problem isnt that stuff is powerful or good, its when something powerful is too easy to do & has no fun counters. if the only way to stop jorj's ragnarok from hitting you is to gb him that clip wouldn't have been kickass bc the other jorj would have just heavied faraam in the back of the head while he self-stuns with the gb like a dumbass, then that jorj would have thrown his ragnarok while the other jorj heavies faraam in the back with a heavy killing him with 0 counterplay. and it would have STILL be more balanced than allblock because ragnarok has a cooldown so after you get 0 counterplay babysat AT LEAST you would get to play again until they're off cooldown. if they put allblock (the passive kind not the active kind that requires timing like bp or blade blockade) on a cooldown as long as fireflask nobody would complain except the people who do nothing else
Though I agree with alot of the folks arguing in the comments about F.H being the only game of it's genre, I still think it falls under the general umbrella of "Combat Games" Like M.K and Chivalry. One thing I absolutely agree with though, is that it's the best! Faraam, when I discovered this game in December of 2019, I discovered your channel shortly after - you've been my drive everyday to get better, thank you, you absolute legend.
It's a fighting game, at least now it is. One that people refuse to understand the mechanics of, so they try to play it like they do other games without understanding where the parallels are.
