I was in a coffee shop, running away from home when I heard the news. Our hero, Jecht, gone. Vanished into thin air! My dad must have been his biggest fan. I knew how sad he’d be. Heck, we all were that day.
“Zanar,” I says to myself, “What are you thinking?” I went running straight back home. We sat up talking ’bout Jecht all night. My dad and I never talked so much.
Whoa… Didn’t mean to reminisce, folks. Anyway… Ten years later, the Jecht Memorial Cup tournament is today! The two teams that have won through to the finals are…of course, the Abes from A-East, and the Duggles from C-South.
I know there’s a lot of people out there today to see the star of the Abes! In just one year, he’s become the team’s number one player! He’s Jecht’s blood, and the new hope of blitzball! What kind of super play will he show us today? Will we see his father’s legendary shot? I don’t think I’m the only one excited here, folks!
What a hopeful song….whatever battles you going through keep pushing, you will see the
Light
Someday…
I love this song now.
Thanks 🙏🏻
The aesthetic experience of the best FF games is second to none....
This song man...... makes me cry so much
One of the best songs in FF history.
Beautiful. I love this melody. Great arrangement.
I don't care what anyone says. The remaster's soundtrack is just as great as the OG. Some tracks are even better and some are worse, lets be real about that. I get people like the Harmonica solo and the rest of the backing instruments during Tidus's theme such as the bass , but I like it having more emphasis on Guitar mostly because it sounds simple and doesn't need to tell you much as the Guitar and the intruments in this version can already tell you the tone of Tidus and what his story is trying to emphasise. It just translates well solely on Guitar and it still gives the feeling of Tidus himself without needing the harmonica or the instruments that were once used in the old MIDI version. What I'm trying to say is this fits Tidus and story, wether you like the difference or not. Again though.
*Nostalgia is one hell of a drug*
As much as I like the harmonica part in the og song, I prefer the remaster's . It's melancholic, and gives me a really sad, but hopeful vibe of someone who knows what he will eventually face, but choose to face it anyway. It's sad but beautiful. And the guitar did it better than the harmonica
@@MrDualeone same man, same.
memories...my fav game of all times
love it. And also the Picture. Thank you !
Absolutely beautiful!
The og is better, but I've softened up over the years to this version. This is beautiful
I got this game for my 10th bdag and play it every 3/4 years. Ive seen this performed live and it crams the soul back into the body. This song is the epitome of cartharsis
Starry night on the ship.
The people that find the remaster track on TH-cam just to comment ‘original was better’ crack me up.
original is better hihi xD
@@rawcoustic1718 i agree with u but let people have their opinions
@@sharkgam3z592 im jk i like both as much. Dont hear much difference tbh
The few beginnings seconds sounds like a part of the Klonoa soundtrack
hell, maybe even, the whole Tidus's story is similiar to Klonoa's
Klonoa saved a dream world only to be getting kicked and thrown to another world,
whereas Tidus saved the world only to reincarnated to the afterlife.
Why does the original track hit so much harder?
The original PS2 version is still better.
@BlueDart28 Ew
@@FirstLast-yc9lq the remaster one is better
Nah this one is better. I didn’t play ffx as a kid so I’m not blinded by rose coloured glasses
@@qq_Shiki_pp The harmonica is gone therefore it's worse.
Both are great honestly
