This is a reaction/review video of Cilla Black singing "Surround Yourself With Sorrow". The song is Cilla's first single of 1969 released in February. It reached number 3 on the UK singles chart. She had two more top 20 hits in the UK in '69. "Surround Yourself With Sorrow" has a wonderful arrangement produced by George Martin. The song is horns and bass guitar dominant though nothing can take away from Cilla's vocals. From the verses to the refrain, Cilla is simply magnificent on interpreting the song. Love it when you cover Cilla I know your a huge fan. It's a great up best song one of three hits that year. 'If I thought you'd ever change your mind,' was an other song of Cilla from that year. The blonde from Anna covered it in the 2000s. This video is from an appearance in Spain.

I always felt this was the best Song Cilla ever recorded! Sadly, she only ever really had one more big hit after this which also went to No. 3 'Something Tells Me' in 1971 - then she disappeared from the Charts altogether...
