I know the feeling you must be feeling. This is the feeling I felt when I played Super Mario Odyssey and got to peaches castle. See I was born in 1990 and the most iconic music sounds to me in gaming was Super Mario Bros Melody (NES) and peaches castle theme in Super Mario 64 for N64. Hearing that sound track made me (27 at 2017) tear up to hear it remade and alive again. Tears of remembering the good times as a kid playing my NES SNES, N64 Gameboy(s) and Sega dreamcast. Also remembering the love from my parents. They sacrificed Alot just to buy me and my siblings games and things for birthdays and Christmas. RIP Mom and Dad, you are no longer in pain and your children love you. ❤
I honestly feel like this is the best track in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Simple yet difficult design, decently long without feeling like a slog to get through, beautiful visuals, and a great song. A damn near perfect track. And no, I’m not saying this out of nostalgia, because I barely ever played Mario Kart Wii tbh.
This HAS to be the BEST course in the ENTIRE GAME!!! I don't care if they added a few guardrails because the texture is just WAY TOO BEAUTIFUL 😍😍😍, the anti-gravity is a nice touch, and the course is still hard and fun and even harder on 200cc!! Also, they brought back the gap jump, the launch star effect, and the FREAKING METEOR FALL!! This has to be a 100/10 for me!😁

The perfect Wii Rainbow Road would have the same speed panel placement and guardrail placement and consequence for running into them as the Wii varient and the anti-gravity and speed panel rings from this variant because the difficulty of the track is what makes this track iconic and combining the most challenging parts of each version would make Wii Rainbow Road more fun.
But what if… Nintendo will re-edit the whole map of the Earth without the mirrors (just like the real one), also for the reveal update at the 22nd December, 2023????
It looks good but the game is very slow compared to the Wii version when it comes to the kart speed, Dosn`t matter if it is 50-150 cc it is too slow anyway , the Wii version is much more challenging and frusterating with weapons you want to use which makes it a great game

It is much easier than the OG Wii Rainbow Road having a sh/+ ton of railings, but it makes up for that in PURE DETAIL AND BEAUTY!!!
