  • The full song of glorifying goddess Isis from the Pharaoh's Golden Parade, it's a hymn of goddess Isis from the book of the dead, suitable for the incarnation of the Ancestors in the presence of the descendants, written in ancient Egyptian language and also performed in this video in ancient Egyptian language, very captivating song and here is the translation of the lyrics :
O people and the spirit that dwells on the highest mountain
    She is the only lady
Give veneration to Isis, for she gives birth to the day
Give veneration to Isis, for She is the lady of the West and the two lands together
She is the one who gives birth to the day
Give veneration to Isis, for She is the lady of the West and the two lands together
    O my only lady
You are honored and esteemed; you are the great eye of Ra in the provinces
You surround your veneration all around,
You sacrifice the precious to save our country
O my only lady to be proud
She is the lady of the West and the two lands together
    You are honored and esteemed
    You are honored and esteemed
You are the lady of the West and the two lands together
    You are honored and esteemed
You are the lady of the West and the lands together
    You are honored and esteemed
You are the great eye of Ra
You surround your veneration all around
You sacrifice the precious to save our country
Respect to Isis, for she is the one who gives a lot to the king of upper and lower Egypt

This hymn is not from the Going Forth by Day, it's from the temple of Isis in Deir el-Shelwit.

This is a hymn to the great mother Goddess Isis. It is blasphemous and deeply disrespectful to the memory of your own culture for only men to be sitting in this audience.

Thank you so much for uploading this video. I love this song and find it simply beautiful. And it's so fitting that a millennia-old ancient Egyptian text was taken here. A hymn to the goddess Isis about the passage of the sun on the occasion of the passing of kings and queens to their new resting place. The singer, the orchestra and the dancers are simply brilliant. ❤️❤️❤️

@@PapyrusMuseum It is thanks to such beautiful works like this, that such a Destiny may be so one day... Even Alexander the Great was inspired by such works. One wonders what was truly shared to him when he entered Siwa, and learned of Ammon.. It will be through works such as this, that re-ignites such sentiments. For that, I thank you (all).

What a ridiculous pronouncement. Speak Egyptian?! Only an Iranian can make a remark like this. I can say this as I'm also Iranian! At least Egyptians have ancient (several thousands years old) text that they can sing from. What about us?
Egypt has produced Omar Sharif and Fatma Saeed and Naquib Mahfouz just in the last 70-80 years, all world class artists. And this performance. And us Iranians have produced 0 world class anything in the same period. But we have managed to produce Khomeini, a terror regime, and cheap pop songs or cheesy shows. Enough said. Indeed I'm proud of Egyptians both ancient and modern. Any enlightened person is.
