You two are the reason I (30 year old male) got a 26' mallard trailer and am now full time r.v. living. Thank you both for making me laugh, and also making me feel welcome.
What year and model Mallard? We have a 2019 M252 and our weekends are always full of fun and adventure, too much sometimes because you can hear my grass growing when I mow.
Loved the "No Concealed Weapons Inside" sticker at check in. If it's concealed who's gonna know? NayNay...that shirt. As a career draftsman/designer/illustrator I'm digging the compass on the front. What's on the back? Great freezer hack. Old Fashioneds all around. Great video.
When your video is concluded, I leave with a chuck, a laugh and can’t wait for more of the Hank’s. Thank you,you two are infectious. See you next video.
Pro tip: Defrosting your fridge/freezer - take stuff out (put in a cooler), unplug/shut off unit, take your largest pot and boil water, set on folded hand towel (to protect freezer and soak up most of water) in freezer and shut door for an hour. Finish drying out the freezer and replug and restock.
Literally just bought my first rv to live in and travel full time with my 3 kids and wife because of you guys!! Love your transparency and encouragement! You guys are wonderful people :)
Always great seeing you guys having fun. As far as getting ready to leave with my 33 ft. travel trailer, I have to start the day before, gas up, put things away, do dishes, pooper scoop, check tire pressure, etc. Then the next morning, I walk my 3 labs, pull in the slide and hitch the trailer and head to the dump station before going to the next destination. This takes about two hours on travel days. I could use a good man to do all the outside stuff, but I'm not letting that hold me back.
I like being watched when I back-in, love seeing the disappointment on their faces. I got applause once from like a group of 10 at COASTLINE RV RESORT in Eastpoint fl.
I am just watching this eating my breakfast and Née Née just called me out….FORK IS DOWN, LMAO! Love you guys! Hubby and I are starting our full-time RV life in March 2023.
Ok now your in my neck of the woods. I’m sure you have reservations , but “The Ridge” is the place to stay in Pigeon Forge! I live 45 min from there and stay there often!
I was holding my breathe that this worked! I put the plastic placemats in ours about a month ago… Yay, it works!! 🎉 Changing sites this weekend- new job, new town, new camp ground, new adventure! Blessing to you and thanks for the tips & giggles!
You are NOT alone! I too also look around at 9:00 am saying "Wow, those people are leaving already? Boy, I'm not even sure I have my underpants on correctly."
TIP: Sandwich something around the plastic cutting board like a piece of duct tape, etc…. (a pull tab) to one of the corners to make it easier to get it started when you need to remove it when it is all frozen. I could give more details on how long it should be; however, I know you guys are smart and will figure it out. I haven’t read through all the comments to see if someone else has provided this tip; if they did, then you have confirmation it might help. Love you guys; keep making the great content……..so FUN to watch.
We have lived 3 hours west of Pigeon Forge for the past 16 years and have YET to visit there. It will be our first destination when we finally get to join y'all living the Rv lifestyle later this year.
I really appreciate you guys! I am 22 years old I went out and got myself a fifth wheel (2016 grand design 27RL) and I have been full time living since last October and running my own business and all of your hacks and tips have been so helpful thank you hanks! #thankshanks
It's true she is a bossy pants and you handle her very well. But it's her bossy pants and your personality towards her that makes you two an adorable and fun couple to watch. You are becoming part of my family. Pray the good Lord allows our paths to meet someday. My husband 79 and myself 66 are putting our house on the market and going to go full time rving. We are so looking forward to our next adventure in life. Keep making me smile.
Great freezer tip. I fly a lot and have to pull my laptop out of my tote bag at security. Found that if you sandwich the laptop between two of the cheap cutting mats in the tote, you can slide it out and back in fast and easy-peasy.

We are going full time in a month! You both have given so many useful tips and inspiration for us to do this journey. Just going to be myself, my boyfriend and our little dog! Selling our house, and heading out east for the fall to start our travels working our way south for winter! We are extremely excited but scared at the same time! #thankshanks for taking the time to provide fun and helpful videos!
That was a fantastic idea with the placemats at the back of the freezer. I watched this the other day but couldn't leave a comment. Big hugs from Logan, Rockett, and Uncle Mac. Coming soon..... a new family member. I'll keep you posted.
My wife and I have been watching your videos now for about a month. We really enjoy watching you guys. We are about to get in to the world of RVing (not full time though due to our jobs but still exciting) Hopefully in about 6 months the truck and camper we are ordering will be in and we can start our adventure. Have fun and be safe!
🤣🤣 SO funny! You two…. I can’t wait to get to the next video. We’re literally JUST starting out here and love your tips and tricks AND most of all, your amazing attitudes with bumps in the road and your married shenanigans! Don’t ever leave us in the RV world. Have babies and raise them in the RV!
Really enjoy the added humor in your videos! If y’all are ever near Huntsville, AL hit us up. For 7 months out of the year we camp at honeycomb campground on lake Guntersville.
OK, I did what you said in this week’s video, I came back and watched some of your older ones! And watching this one, I am having to explain to Boog, my dog, who is a Dexter fan, why I keep startling him as I laugh out loud! 2 tips: silicone spatula for the corners on the ice in the freezer, and when pounding your chicken, use a gallon ziplock baggie, then just put the marinade in the baggie. You’ll need a lot less marinade to do the same job! And don’t have to worry about deep disinfecting multiple surfaces! Y’all are awesome!
I absolutely agree!! Check out time should always at least be 1PM!!! And what's up with people leaving 8 or 9??? You guys the best!! My favorite to watch!
It’s always fun to see you guys work out the hacks. The wife and I have the exact same placemats ( we use them on our kitchen table). They aren’t cutting boards. 🤣
I have done this in my RV freezer I live stationery full-timethis has saved me so much time and aggravation with your little freezer trick thank you so much for sharing things like this love it
Great tip along with great entertainment! We're going full time in 9 days!!!! Going crazy prepping right now for it but it'll be worth it! See ya on the road!
Just love this new video about the Dex-man!! 😻. So cute to see him playing with ice and giving kisses! Very cool you guys could work in some footage about yourselves too. I keed; I keed! Nifty life hack with the freezer. Thanks for sharing your hilarious life every week. You both always bring a smile to my face!
By not being in a hurry to leave, means your living the dream. We're like you , we leave when we're good n ready no hurries. Living The Dream Just Sayin' Dan 😗
We use Press and Seal for the back and sides of our freezer. It works really well too. We got a chuckle out of all the little sound effects this episode!
If you guys came up I-26 headed to Pigeon Forge, you were 2 miles from my house when you crossed into North Carolina. Wave next time! 😆😆😆. We’re headed to Myrtle Beach SP in a few weeks… if we EVER get the RV back from the dealer, that is! Warranty recall…ugh. Happy RVing guys. Hope we cross paths soon.
We have used the thin cutting boards for about a year. 95% of the ice comes out quickly. Then we just use a hair dryer to get out the last of it. Total time is only 10-15 minutes.
We like to get out early because a lot of our stays are at first come first serve parks and we want to be able to get a good selection of spots. So, we do a lot of our pack up the day/night before.. Usually we're out by 9am at the latest.
I forgot to say: as far as packing up the camper to leave, I wait until the last minute to go. I paid until 11 o’clock, so that’s when I’m leaving!! 😂😂
1) those are place mats. 2) small plastic scrapers are great at cleaning small areas in the freezer. And if you can find the baking scrapers/dough cutters, they are great for freezer and for the truck windows
We're not full time yet but on our current trip we just booked an extra night so we can leave whenever we want. Pulled out around 430pm. Slept in so we could do some night driving.
Myrtle Beach was a great stop for us, you are kind of stopping at places we stopped at in Nov of 2021. The rods are very weird in the park and we had a very difficult site to back into at this park, due to narrow roads!
Yup pour me an old fashion! Glad i found your site. Have learned a ton of stuff! We have a 19ft mallard. We do live in it 24/7 but just for regular camping and we love it!
What a great idea! I have a residential fridge and it freezes up while we’re traveling. Not sure why. I’m going to get some placemats and try this in the fridge and freezer! Safe travels and I hope you enjoy Pigeon Forge and the Smokey mountains. It’s my all time favorite place to be! ❤️❤️
We try to stay in state parks whenever we can. We're weekend warriors except for our 2 week summer trip, so if we want a weekend I have to make reservations months ahead of time at the more popular parks. In PA check in/check out is 3pm, and we stay until the last possible minute. All those early leavers have to sit in the line at the dump station. Us late leavers rarely have a line.
Oh my goodness! I have such trouble with my freezer freezing up! So thankful for this tip. I will buy and use these as soon as I can! Yay! Thanks Hanks! 😊😘😘
You’re not alone! We see check out time (typically 11) and we sleep 🛌 our butts in until it’s time to get ready to roll. P.S. really disappointed your “hanging with the hanks” sold out in like two seconds. But totally understand. We love you guys!
Kyle and Ney Ney, you guys make me laugh every time I watch your videos. #ThanksHanks What a great time you guys are having. Can't wait to see you guys on the road. I will take that Old Fashion when we meet up. #HappyEverHanks rock.
“Sigh… lets get this done.” Karl, that one line encompasses feeling everyone has on the first day of camping when you get to the site and know you have hours of setting up ahead of them. 😂
Hi Hanks. So excited that tomorrow I get to have my 1st Buccee's experience in St Augustine FL. I will be able search of the Buccee Beavers! Thanks for the video ! Hope to see you at a rally
Great idea! Glad you made it to Pigeon Forge. You really me laughing this time. Looking forward to seeing the video of you two at Dollywood. #ThanksHanks
We do have our stuff together, just like you!! 😁 You don’t need to rush the tear down process… unless you have a long trip ahead of you. We’re never in a rush on our last day… no need to stress over it. Take your time, enjoy your last morning before you move on to your next adventure. 😎
Great tip for those nasty freezers that need defrosting, I remember all to well the freezer defrost I had to do in our freezer at home before they came out with frost clear or frost free freezers, don't look forward to this but that made it faster.
Ha! Go Figure we just spent the last 3.5 years doing the Cooler/hairdryer method, but just bought a different rig with a residential frig. Wish I would have had that hack back then :)
Hi Happy Thursday Carl and Nene 💘 We are going to Myrtle Beach Travel Park on Monday 1st for a week. So excited!!! Love yall. Have a Great time. Thank to the Hanks for the freezer hack.
Carl! You’ve been watching Steve on Blues Clues! The way you ask the camera for a response? Love it! Now learn some Blues Clues songs? Maybe? Our fave is: “We just got a letter! We just got a letter! We just got a letter, wonder who it’s from?” (When mail comes, on the show, to Steve & Blues?? Err, never mind). BTW, most RV Freezer video time than any other RV Channel on TH-cam! The Daytime Emmy goes to…🏆 The Hanks! Woohoo!! And lastly: You’ve NEVER been to Pigeon Forge?? (Had to) Tourist Trap, but actually enjoyed Dollywood!! Fun! Safe Travels
I have those in my freezer too. As for what is in your freezer...I keep a list of my freezer contents to be sure I use things before too much time has passed and to keep me from opening the freezer door too much.
You know... it's quite hysterical that y'all are addressing this, I have been meaning to do this hack in my freezer since 2 weeks ago and I was chiseling away at the glacier in my freezer!
Great Hanks-Hack on the freezer frost. Myrtle Beach is home to some great kite flying from everything I've heard. Don't know if the kite beach is part of the park though.
Excellent advice. I warped my freezer door a few years ago. Like you said, always put a heat source on a towel and away from any plastic/rubber. Been putting off defrost but want to try the hot water on my garage fridge
Wife and I live in SC, hope you enjoy/ed your time in the state! BTW, there are way better beaches than Myrtle Beach that you should check out next time. Love the channel, keep it up!
You two are the reason I (30 year old male) got a 26' mallard trailer and am now full time r.v. living. Thank you both for making me laugh, and also making me feel welcome.
Aww thanks so much for sharing! 🤗
What year and model Mallard? We have a 2019 M252 and our weekends are always full of fun and adventure, too much sometimes because you can hear my grass growing when I mow.
Also, what are you pulling out with? We have a 2020 f150.
@@billfouraker9103 it is a 2018 ultra light aluminum frame. And I tow with a 2014 Nissan titan. Also I have great fun with it.
Where are you from? We are from jax Florida area, and I am 280 working days from retiring, but who's counting?
Loved the "No Concealed Weapons Inside" sticker at check in. If it's concealed who's gonna know? NayNay...that shirt. As a career draftsman/designer/illustrator I'm digging the compass on the front. What's on the back? Great freezer hack. Old Fashioneds all around. Great video.
OK no conceal carry how about constitutional carry?
It’s a Grand Design RV shirt!
@@richardmurry9866 that or large open carry? Is that ok too? AR15 on a shoulder strap???
Let’s go Brandon!!! FJB!!!
Yeah she has a nice shirt😉
When your video is concluded, I leave with a chuck, a laugh and can’t wait for more of the Hank’s. Thank you,you two are infectious. See you next video.
Glad you enjoyed it
You have made me laugh so hard, wow, you don't realize how much you need a good laugh until it rolls over you! This was just awesome!
We're so glad we could bring some laughter your way! Thank you for watching and sharing the good vibes 😊 You mean a lot!
Great tip!
Or..... buy a residential frig. 😁
Even faster if you throw away the water in the pot and refill with more hot water each time it gets cool enough to put your hand in
Literally just bought my first rv to live in and travel full time with my 3 kids and wife because of you guys!! Love your transparency and encouragement! You guys are wonderful people :)
🤗 We’re so happy for y’all!
I binged all your videos. Not because I'm interested in the RV lifestyle, but because yall crack me up haha
You rock! Thanks so much 🤗

We have lived 3 hours west of Pigeon Forge for the past 16 years and have YET to visit there. It will be our first destination when we finally get to join y'all living the Rv lifestyle later this year.

Y'all need to come visit is near Canyon Lake, Texas. We can set up a time when a concert at Whitewater Amphitheater is going on!

That is awesome!
Make sure your next RV has a residential fridge and you won't have to defrost it. Typically much larger also.
I saw the freezer tip on Facebook but was worried it wouldn't freeze with the placemat in there. I am so gonna do this after watching this. Thank you.

Hello Hank's, thank you for making me smile today.

Ha! Go Figure we just spent the last 3.5 years doing the Cooler/hairdryer method, but just bought a different rig with a residential frig. Wish I would have had that hack back then :)
Ocean Lakes in Myrtle Beach is our favorite Campground of all-time!
Pirate land is nice too!
Hi Happy Thursday Carl and Nene 💘
We are going to Myrtle Beach Travel Park on Monday 1st for a week. So excited!!!
Love yall. Have a Great time. Thank to the Hanks for the freezer hack.
Have a blast!
The Daytime Emmy goes to…🏆
The Hanks! Woohoo!!
And lastly: You’ve NEVER been to Pigeon Forge?? (Had to)
Tourist Trap, but actually enjoyed Dollywood!! Fun!
Safe Travels
LOL This is great Michael, can't for about Blues Clues lol
"Refreezing the frost." 🤔🤣😂 Thats our kind of language. Lol!
I have those in my freezer too. As for what is in your freezer...I keep a list of my freezer contents to be sure I use things before too much time has passed and to keep me from opening the freezer door too much.
Great tip!
thoroughly enjoy your channel guys.... we just keep watching!
You know... it's quite hysterical that y'all are addressing this, I have been meaning to do this hack in my freezer since 2 weeks ago and I was chiseling away at the glacier in my freezer!
😆
Fun video, as always! Thanks for bringing us along!
Thank you for the freezer tip. I'm so tired of the freezer chiseling or hot water .. AB Roadrunners
Love your videos! Thank you 💕
Please do a video on the financial aspect of your RV life, how do you afford the RV lifestyle at such a young age?! 🙏🏽💕
We just like to sleep late so we're checking out at the very last minute!
Wife and I live in SC, hope you enjoy/ed your time in the state! BTW, there are way better beaches than Myrtle Beach that you should check out next time. Love the channel, keep it up!
