      You know it:
      1. Cleanser
      2. DRMTLGY Needle-less Serum
      3. The Ordinary Copper Peptides
      4. Retinoid
      5. Moisturizer

@@AbbeyYungthe ordinary copper didn't do anything dot me and my skin is like sensitive to retinol it makes it red and burn feeling. Am I doing something wrong? I don't go out in the sun much at all but it the only time I ever have a reaction is anything with retinol in it

I am as well, I can use it to a certain point then it's just too much. I've found that I can use it in my cleanser and maaaybe one leave on product if its not high up on the ingredients but anything more and my skin will mutiny. It feels so rare to find someone else who is senstive to it and there are so many products with it :( I'm also sensitive to hyalauronic acid so glycerin is my go to.

My 14yo put me on to those makeup-eraser-esque towels! To remove her SPF (and sometimes a little makeup) She sprays her face with plenty of micellar water and wipes it away with the damp towel.. then she goes in with her cleanser. If she doesn't wake up feeling oily, She does it in the AM too and skips cleanser. I do the same thing, only I use an oil cleanser. I ran out of cleansing oil last night and my new one hasn't come in yet... I just put a little jojoba oil directly onto the damp cloth and used it like a makeup wipe. Worked perfectly. Best part? She got like 15 of them for under $5 on shein and her Mic H2O lasts about twice as long as it did when she was using reusable cotton rounds. This hack gets ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ from me! 🥇

I have to share my face wash trick. I lean over the tub and use that faucet when washing my face. That way, I don’t get water everywhere, and that water heats up faster than my sink, so I use less running water.

Great suggestions for eye creams! It’s so frustrating when folks are too young to see lines around their eyes tell us to just use our moisturizer. What works well for me (51 yo) is to use a peptide-based moisturizer in the morning and a retinol-based one in the evening. Right now I am use Senté and the newish DRMTLGY HBR.

Hi Abbey - the Kopari moisturizer has cocos nucifera fruit extract which some people say is comedogenic along with other coconut derived ingredients. I personally have mixed results with coconut based ingredients and generally avoid them. Do you have any science based knowledge on this subject and would you consider a video about this and maybe other possible comedogenic ingredients? Or common misconceptions about comedogenic ingredients? If you have already covered this topic I apologize, I must have missed it. Love your channel! Thanks so much for the awesome content!! • @orahlasko4006

You can apply it over moisturizer without any issues. This helps create a barrier so that the tret isn’t as drying and doesn’t irritate your skin as much. I’m an esthetician and that is what I recommend to all my clients.

That melting balm by G&G is the BEST!! You introduced me and it truly changed my nighttime skincare routine. I then dove in deep with their other products; you seriously can't go wrong. For nails, I highly HIGHLY recommend Nailtiques Formula 2+. It's a tiny pink bottle but has done wonders for my nails. I've been using it weekly since August and about half way through the bottle. Once you finish a bottle, you can move onto the blue bottle. I'm on a medication that impacts my nails and I could never get them to grow out or strong. This was a game changer for me. I have several friends, family, and coworkers asking me "where do you get your nails done?" I tell them I do them myself! I've turned several friends onto it, some who had damage due to salon visits, others who recently came out of chemo. I'm telling you, game changer. Jojoba oil is also the best oil for your nails because the molecule is small enough to be absorbed. Be sure to slather on your oil down to the first knuckle as that's where the nail grows from. Best of luck on your nail journey!!

Thanks, great video!...the one thing I'm concerned with in layering serums is that they won't all reach the skin with the strength intended. My derm has told me to always put trentinon first since it's the most important night time product. To wait about 30 minutes then go on with the rest of the routine. It's challenging to wait...so I do it when I'm watching tv or something.

It’s funny because I have also recently been trying out a galactomymces essence and so far so good.
I used to use the Ordinary products all the time (and just recently ordered their new retinal treatment that’s claims to work 10X faster than any other retinol. But for some reason when I used the copper peptide serum my skin HATED it. I have no idea what it was that my skin didn’t like about it but it just did not work for me.
Lately I’ve been having a lot of success with the Good Molecules line. I have several products that I absolutely love.
I do the same thing with a REALLY hydrating balm after my eye cream but I use the La Roche Posay Cicaplast Baum. (I’ve also been using it on a wound on my hand that I got when I was in a car accident. It’s just scar tissue now and I swear that scar tissue has gone down exponentially since using it (and one other thing that I will talk about)
One thing I have been doing is just using Micelar water on my face to clean it on lazy nights. I actually keep all my nighttime skincare in a bag next to my bed so on those REALLY lazy nights I can just reach over and do my skincare in bed lol.
Another thing I swear by (last thing I promise) is my LED therapy mask. The blue light is supposed to kill the bacteria that causes acne and the red light is for anti-aging (I still haven’t figured out what the yellow light is for 😐) But I’ve also been using the red light on my hand and between that and the La Roche Posay Baum, the doctors have been SO SURPRISED at how fast it’s healed.

Tretinoin has just been discontinued in Canada and the UK. It’s made such a difference in my skin and I’m not sure what to use now that I can no longer get it. 😢 I’m wondering in tazarotene would be a good replacement for it?

    • @lindseystein9676
      @lindseystein9676 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Tazarotene, trifarotene or adapalene are the ones I’ve heard of as a trentanoin replacement. I think only adapalene is over the counter, but I’m not sure about in Canada

I use a good k-beauty brand but....Also, could you do a review on disposable cotton towels for the face. I'm interested in your take. Thanx for the fun and funny vids. Always full of good advice.

Do you alternate certain products in your routines based on a day of the week or whatever (like exfoliating treatment or mask one day a week or something) Or do you do the recently posted AM and PM routine everyday? I noticed they have exfoliating ingredients, retinol, and super hydrating ingredients, kind of everything all at once so I was thinking maybe you just stick to one daily routine?
